Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

Good thing, if that’s all you get to see.

I hope the laundry went well. I’m still trying to get all the Youth up. James and Frank haven’t been seen.

The yellow eyes look clear and bright, so at least I know he’s past the relapse, or whatever it was that had him off his feed for those three days. And yes, if that’s all I get to see, it’s enough to know he’s here.

The laundry is waiting to be hung up, but I’ll take my next round of pills, first. Seems my days are timed from pill dose to pill dose, and I only eat whatever I need to buffer them.

Good Afternoon!

Still no sunshine here, but at least the thunderstorms and rains have stopped.... for now...

After a week of 4s and 5s with that starter word, I decided to try a different one today, and got very lucky on row 2...

Back from the procedure. It was too painful for me to finish, but I’ll have to go back and get the rest of it done. It was so bad that it was affecting both arms, so I had to beg him to quit.

I’m not a coward, but I am a chicken! It was just too much all at once. I see Rachel for a follow-up next week, and will try to reschedule the rest of the injection. It had just been left for so long, that the damage was worse than I thought.

I really want to go to Dairy Queen and get a hot lava fudge sundae, or whatever chocolate decadence they’re selling right now.

A Yellacat is almost as good as yellaeyes!

I saw the hugh yellow eyes again this morning. They didn’t look directly at me, but I saw them open.

Good morning. I hope you had a good night, with no PillowCat.

Thanks for the wishes on the procedure. I’ll see Rachel next week and find out if and when I can get the rest of it done. Hopefully, the nerves will have simmered down enough in the next month to try again. When it hit the right arm, it scared me and it shouldn’t have.

The last two epidurals I had were in the neck but this was in the back and it was much worse that the other two combined. I had bone spurs in my neck but that isn’t the case, here. So I’ll just take it easy today, and pretend I’m normal.

Our vet told us that orange cats are “rare and very sweet”. Ours sure was — Miss Ginger (RIP). 😪

No cat last night. He turned up for breakfast when I came downstairs. He’s probably gone off to bed with a bro by now.

This one is plushy. We’ve never had an orange cat.

Beds are very important to cats!

I’ve had one marmalade, called Mr Psycho, because he was the most energetic kitty I’ve ever seen. I fell in love with them and was about half-heartedly searching for one when Annette took me to the sanctuary.

Speaking of which, there was no set time to pick up the carrier, but if they come after bedtime, I’ll just set it outside.

I miss being able to brush a kitty, but maybe he’ll get used to me, eventually.

It’s 45° out and may get up to 79° today. Maybe I’ll go stand in the sun for a while!

Thinking about it, Monday was not a good day for the procedure, because it was laundry day, and I was hanging things up. I’ll have it done on a Wednesday, when I can do it early in the morning.

Good morning. Happy Twosday!

We had a nice, warm afternoon yesterday. F-I-L did some mowing which made him feel productive, if a little hot. It was good that I could switch his system to A/C remotely, then back to heat overnight.

More of the same is on tap today, except he shouldn’t have to mow.

I think we’ve finally arranged for his son to come get his car so we can get our garage back. It’s only a matter of scheduling now.

Still rolling on a string of Wordle 4s.

Indeed, so!

I didn’t have any and was too shaken to drive to DQ, so I settled for some dark Chocolate Sea Salted Caramels. The one didn’t last as long as a chocolate ice cream decadence would, but it helped!
