Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

Good Midweek Morning!
We went with my BIL and SIL down to Austin last afternoon for Gus’ fried chicken and to see Jordan B. Peterson at the Moody Center... the chicken was great and Peterson’s lecture was even better... (Part of his “We Who Wrestle With God” tour.)
Looks like we have run out of our sunshine allocation for a while.... it never seems to last anymore...
Decent Wordle outing today...

I went out and stood in the sun for a while. It felt so good!
My poor Raisin is covered with pollen, so it looks brownish. There is still a week before pay day.
Thanks, but I’m a lightweight compared to the siblings who have the eidetic memories. I need one so I can write my personal history accurately!
I took a nap after going to Walmart.
Naps after Walmart are always good. Good for the body and good for the mind!
I sent a card to you today. ;o]
I know the feeling.
I have a mind like a steel sieve! When I was younger I was known for having a photogenic memory.
Thanks. It’s nice to get a card. I was tired. I’m still tired, but I have a meeting at 7:30.
Good morning. Happy Friday Eve!
We had 26 fs when I walked the Princess this morning. Brr. We’re expecting highs in the 70s on Sunday. Talk about a shift.
The Princess starts her medicine for her liver today. Mrs. ArGee will be taking her father to the podiatrist so I have pill duty. I hope it won’t bother our girl’s stomach too much.
Today was an ordinary Wordle day.

Cute kitty butts!
Good morning. I hope you slept well after the meeting.
I’ll be going to pick up groceries this morning.
Next week is the epidural (here, they call it “a procedure,”) so hopefully, by the end of the summer, I’ll be able to do my own shopping. I’m looking forward to that, for sure!
When I get back, I’ll sort pills, and that will be my day.
I woke up for some reason, around 2100 last night, and then I heard two little sneezes coming from the area around the foot of my bed. I raised up to see what I could see, and there, silhouetted by the nightlight in the bathroom was Chip. He sat there for a few minutes, and I spoke to him in a quiet voice, and then he turned and took his long scrawny tail after him! I could see all of his white markings, and he’s definitely a tuxedo kitty — but a chocolate one!
It’s 56° right now, but our high will only reach 72. Br-r-r-r! And to think I put my longjohns away until November!
I already feel bad for the Princess Doggie. I hope the nausea isn’t too bad.
That is adorable!!
I think the little ones are plush toys.
Interesting that you saw a cat late at night.
I agree.
Especially since the cat is Invisible!
I just got back from picking up the groceries, so I’m good for another week.
In a few minutes, I’ll sort pills.
Kathleen and I took the gear we’d borrowed back to the Scout camp. We’ll go to Walmart next.
Done with the pills, and now I’m going to have to sit for a bit. The rain is on it’s way and I don’t need a barometer to tell me. My barometer is built-in!
I’ll go make the bed in a few minutes and maybe that will get some of the kinks out. I’ll go stand in the sun after a while, again. It felt good yesterday, and maybe I’ll get some color to my skin, finally!
Our neighbor has a Cavalier King Charles that likes to bark out the front window as passers-by. They bought a plush toy of the breed that is permanently looking out the same window. It’s cute when they are both there.
HA!
