A federal appeals court on Friday ruled that Trump does not have immunity from January 6 civil lawsuits.
Earlier this year, Joe Biden’s Justice Department said in a court filing in the DC US Court of Appeals that Donald Trump can be sued by police officers over January 6.
The DOJ lawyers argued that Trump does not have immunity from civil lawsuits by police officers.
US District Judge Amit Mehta, an Obama appointee earlier this year rejected Trump’s immunity claim.

It will be appealed, relax, this won’t stand.
Their families could bring a class-action against both of them. Same for all the burned/looted businesses (by BLM and Anteeefa when Mattress Mo was paying their bail).

“All of these cases against Trump will eventually be decided by only one court... The Supreme Court of the United States.”
The goal of all of these lawsuits is to tie Trump up in court proceedings and cause him to spend hundred of millions of dollars to defend himself. The law is used to bankrupt individuals the government or corporations desire to persecute. Trump has to walk through several politicized and corrupt courts for each case before he can get to the Supreme Court. Even if Trump wins these many cases in the end, there will be no refund of the money he spent fighting in the courts. Certainly he gets no refund for the thousands of hours of his life consumed in the legal maneuvering. He may win the final judgment but at a huge cost he can. never recover.
And theres video of it....so it should be interesting to see how far any of these suits get.

Trump is immune. This appeal will have to keep climbing.

It has yet to be established in a court of law that Trump violated a single law on Jan 6.
The police can sue, but based on what?
This is judicial harrassment, all it is, and they all know it won’t stand.
Judge Amit Mehta is not even an American, he is a “-” half American.
