Agreed. Violation of oath of office to uphold the constitution.

I interpret this to mean:

While there is enough evidence to convict most people, there is not the OVERWHELMING evidence that would be required to convince 16 Senate Democrats that would be needed for conviction in the Senate. Since an election is just around the corner, we will instead use the power of investigation to weaken Biden and the Dems chances.

Committees are already investigating the Bidens. Whether or not a separate impeachment process should be set up now is a question of what’s strategically better for Republicans at this time.

We don’t know if this story is true or what Johnson’s reasons for saying it are (if it is true), but anybody who gets elected is going to disappoint you somehow and sometime. Was going through all of last month’s rigamarole really worth it?

How many people on here were popping bottles and throwing parties for this clown? Ha ha ha ha ha

There’s a reason the UNIPARTY voted for this poser. Ha ha ha ha ha

It’s like when Manchin has cover to run his mouth. Complete and total overreactions every day, all day.

And if one of the Chief clowns, MTG, or anyone else thinks that McCarthy would have initiated an impeachment, I have a bridge to sell you.

The “impeachment inquiry” was nothing more than a stunt to appease the masses, thinking they were getting something done. Ha ha ha ha.

That would have been strung along for as long as needed. Until something popped to wipe it off the front page. Like……another war.

All theater. Nothing more.

They can impeach him, but they won’t be able to get a conviction.
However, subpoenas have gone out, and Mike Johnson will change his tune when those witnesses being subpoenaed bear fruit.

Not time to get worked up yet for goodness sakes.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

They couldn’t get a conviction with Pres Trump but they did it anyway. Biden isn’t going to be thr nominee anyway. And Newsome is an absolute disaster.

Dribbling out info over time is a good way to keep the corruption in the headlines .. at least a little.

They’ll just start another war or some other false flag, shooting, or something else.

“Wonder what dirt the Joe Burden White House has on Johnson?”

A simple, but pointed, threat to his family would probably suffice.

Now we know.... why this guy Johnson seemingly came out of nowhere (he wasn’t on anyone’s radar)... and handily won the GOP speakership. Got it.

The Republican PTB’s have decided that they’ve got Joe right where they want him, on the ticket in 2024.

Russian roulette with WWIII IMO, but hey no one has called to ax for my opinion.

LOL. I can see him stumbling up steps one last time to the scaffold saying "Phew! Free at last. I'm so tired being Obama's n!gger." (I never forget he was a Robert Byrd guy like Hillary)

Finally freed of the demon that's been riding him for decades Joe says "Who's on Johnny Carson tonight?".

Re: "formal impeachment hearings"

Please note "formal."

As long as the current investigation continues at its current pace, and as long as the results are made public in a timely fashion, why have any formal hearings at all?

We do not have enough votes to impeach Biden.

Informal hearings may actually have a public relations advantage.

Formal hearings would mean live TV coverage and Democrat rebuttal time for every contested issue.

95% of the best defense attorneys in the country are Democrats.

They would be on EVERY network 24-7 pleading Biden's case.

Egad! Another freaking loser!

Roll out the Conservative Party and relegate GOP to the depths of the swamps from whence they crawled.

Hey, Matt Gaetz, It’s Time To Vacate The Chair Again!!!

While I realize any impeachment would meet a DOA in the Senate, it’s totally unacceptable that the House refuses to at least go on the record as condemning all of Brandon’s myriad atrocities!!!

After all of the politically-motivated impeachments and indictments levied on the GOAT POTUS Donald J. Trump, a clear statement against the most corrupt illegitimate White House occupier in history must be made!!!

Doesn’t really bother me at this point. I’d rather run against Brandon than some random who people can say “they deserve a chance”. In the meantime just let the evidence keep piling up.

Actually there was more likelihood of them getting a conviction with feckless RINOs, then with Democrats controlling the Senate.

But there is no indication that articles of impeachment of Joe Biden will never be forth coming in the House. The investigations are still ongoing. Let's see where they lead to.
