Russian Analysts: "IDF to Suffer Heavy Losses in Gaza - Confrontation Designed to Exhaust Israel & Bring Survival"
WarNews247 ^

Posted on 10/13/2023 9:33:21 AM PDT by BusterDog

"Bombshell" publications in the Russian media refer to the failure of the Israeli Army's ground operation in Gaza. The Russians report that the Israeli Army will not achieve the goals it has set while suffering significant losses.

The worst-case scenario for Israel, and for the West, is to get bogged down in a war and then be attacked on other fronts with the risk of sliding into a regional war as WarNews247 reported yesterday .

Not a true blue water navy, no.

Although they do have serious sub firepower that can reach out and touch someone.

They are all about protecting homeland, not projecting power.

Is carpet bombing in order then? That would be the safest option.

Artillery shelling is much cheaper and just as effective. Use drones for spotters and adjust fire until the entire grid is leveled. Then bounce the rubble a few times just to be sure.

That is how the Russians do these things.

Ruck Fussia.
Have they picked their spot on the plains of Megiddo where they will assemble their armored units?

“Israel might have to resort to using their nukes.”

That’s not gonna happen. Israel won’t be the first to use nukes.

Great idea…except that even WE don’t have battleships, and Israel never did.

However, they do have over 600 combat aircraft that are able to deliver precision loads of several thousand pounds of explosives within a few feet of any target, pretty much at any time of day or night.

You’re right but it happened to Golda Meir 50 years ago so to expect anything else is unrealistic.

I don’t disagree. however, Hamas has much of their terror infrastructure under the ground - tunnels, weapons storage, etc.

I’m thinking that in order to uproot Hamas, they’re gonna have to go in with infantry and clear those locations. Depending on how motivated Hamas is to resist, it could get bloody for the Israelis.

“A bunch of inbred, poorly trained, poorly equipped, irregular militia with no supporting infrastructure airpower, or heavy weapons.”

I’ll take “who are the Viet Cong?” for 100 Alex.

The US Navy doesn’t have any battleships in service either. No navy does currently.

The Viet Cong had N Vietnam supplying them though. Hamas doesn’t have a supply line and cannot live off the land.

Several years ago, I was watching the Military Channel and they discussed sonic crowd control weapons systems. Have the US or Israelis developed an effective sonic weapon system? just drive through Gaza blasting that puppy and they will curl up like puppy dogs. Use facial recognition and shoot them while they are on the ground.

If Israel’s attack on Gaza is already a failure, then what should be said of Russia’s attack on Ukraine?

I was not aware that no one had battleships anymore! maybe I am just using the wrong word? a ship with giant guns that can rain hell down upon a coastline in prep for an amphibious assault.

Will it get bad enough that Israel will draft the 17% of young men who are on religious exemption as “Yeshiva students”?

I watched a video yesterday of a bunch of Yeshiva students chasing the local police and their military escort out of their neighborhood and they were waving a Palestinian flag as they did it. Not sure that group will be up for conscription.

Warnews247.gr is a three year old Greek language site, on a German server, claiming to have inside information out of the Russia.

Its another fake news site, reporting what the MSM has already reported, and putting sensational spin on it on what they get off twitter and telegram.

Fake/scam site.

USS Missouri BB63 was the last battleship to be in commission in any of the world’s navies; she was decommissioned in 1992. Nobody has big gun ships any more. Big gun cruisers are also a thing of the past; destroyers and cruisers are all missile platforms, now, with a 5” rapid-fire gun or two because sometimes you need a gun.
