Progressive culture teaches white liberals that standing up to specific individuals—mainly black folks—makes them racist. According to this twisted ideology, resisting theft, assault, or even murder from these people will get them labeled “racists.” And God forbid some white liberal calls the police during an attack and actually gets the perpetrator arrested; they’ll find themselves canceled and their lives upended. It’s better for white liberals to just endure the assault and quietly move on. So, when a Forbes “30 Under 30” CEO, a standout entrepreneur with a bright future, was murdered by a black man in her apartment building—a stranger who she buzzed through the door—many naturally wondered if she did so because she didn’t want to appear “racist.”

There's ZERO evidence that's why the victim let him in.
The killer probably told the victim he was a MAINTENANCE WORKER, like he did to this other victim.
These people grew up on Leave it to Beaver and Ozzie and Harriet. We grew up in the post-segregation/crack cocaine/Eazy-E/‘F you whyt boi era’. There are no scales on our eyes.
*desegregation.
(How does FR not have an edit button?)
True.
There’s a contingent here trying to push Byron Donalds for VP.
A black dude with a drug and bank fraud arrest. He has never held any executive position, has passed no meaningful legislation, and was a Democrat almost his entire life.
Only qualification…negro. Self loathing whites should be shipped to Haiti for a year.
I have a daughter who thinks just like her. So I have no criticism of the poor misguided wokester, even to her opening the door. She had a moment to consider it and most people would have done that same thing. Some of us would have had our warning systems kick in at some point. There’s also both wokeism and a communal trust that exists in those big cities. They actually believe the crap.
But if criminal justice even remotely existed in this country, she would be alive. I’m in my sixties, and the serial killers used to be white. But the libs didn’t punish them, even back then. If Bundy hadn’t escaped and killed those co-eds in Florida, he would probably be a director for Netflix.
He probably said he was a maintenance worker, like he said to another victim. (See the link in my post #101 above.)
Many people feel safe in their little community. They think nothing bad will happen to them there. "Oh, you're maintenance? Okay..."
Yep. Haiti is their natural state. Any living conditions for the negro above those found in Haiti is due to the administrative abilities and largesse of others.
While living on the third floor, I learned early on to never buzz anyone in when my bell rang and always went down stairs to see who was there.
Entrance door was never secure and you could just turn the handle and jerk the door open. Had a black couple actually knock on my door one night at about 11:30 p.m. Turns out they had the wrong building but had entered mine thru the unsecure doorway.
Another time when I was living on the first floor, someone woke me up by lightly knocking on my door. It was the maintenance man saying he had gotten a call about a power outage in my building and if I had anything that he could check my outlets with. So I gave him an electric razor and he checked one outlet, said ok, then left.
It wasn't until a couple of days later when I was talking with a couple on the third floor, they told me that someone had come into their apartment late at night and stole her purse and wallet. I then realized what the maintenance man's intent was. If I hadn't come to the door, he would have used his master key and quietly slipped into my apartment and robbed me.
A while after that, the guy had broken into a co-workers apartment and robbed him while we were at work. The guy was spotted by another tenant and I never saw him again and assume he was arrested.
It was a learning experience for me and not long afterwards, my dad gave me a Sig P226 for my birthday. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have answered the door and would likely have shot the guy when he slipped into my apartment.
Thanks for posting.
The skeptics here are now fully vindicated.
All that bu11$#it about rising Tech CEO is shown to be horse manure.
What I am saying is, she apparently did not have any common sense.
She had a high level of security in place (or at least available), but she chose to rely on her instincts?
Would not be surprised to learn that she was at various BLM events and that she even gave big $$$s to the scam.
Sorry for her family and friends, but I believe the deceased is/was part of the problem that eventually killed her. IF ONLY those who were the cause of these problems the only ones who died as a result of the problems they cause.
wrong?
horribly mean?

I think it is kind and generous and honest.
Do you suggest that we act like this has never happened EVER?
Do you suggest it could not happen again?
This murder is a repeat warning. Ignore it at you own peril!!
When are the parole boards going to be held accountable for setting these monsters free among us? They've been doing it for decades
Ok, well, thanks for the observation, I guess.
I wonder what God was thinking...
I think he might have been a maintenance man because the other incident where he attacked a couple in their bedroom he gained entry by banging on the door and requesting for them to come out because there is a flood. So either he pretends to be a maintenance man or he actually was one.
Burn the coal. Pay the toll.
Yup.
We need our own Homeland. Or Homelands.
If Toronto and Baltimore are part of other countries - not our circus, not our monkeys.
I actually just read he wasn’t parol. He was denied parole. He was let out on good behavior - time served. The parole board is pissed too.
I’m familiar with the story. They should have announced he was on the lose. They were searching for him tho. Not sure why everyone keeps referring to as woke. It has zero to do with it.
He targeted a black couple the week before.
