This sounds like an episode from The Simpsons, but unfortunately, we’re living in Idiocracy and life is getting weirder by the day.

Governments should place a moratorium on efforts to geoengineer the planet’s climate, as greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise and the climate crisis takes hold, a panel of global experts has urged.
Geoengineering is highly controversial, but discussions of its feasibility are gathering pace as the impacts of extreme weather, driven by climate breakdown, grip the planet. There is no global agreement on geoengineering, and no rules on what countries, or businesses, can do.
In a report published on Thursday, the Climate Overshoot Commission called on governments to phase out fossil fuels, put more resources into adapting to the impacts of extreme weather, and start using technologies to remove carbon dioxide, such as carbon capture and storage and the capture of carbon directly from the air.
Governments should also allow academics to investigate the possibilities of geoengineering, chiefly in the form of solar radiation management, which involves attempting to reduce the amount of sunlight striking the Earth’s surface, for instance through whitening clouds to be more reflective, or setting up mirrors in space.
Guess someone missed the “Don’t mess with mother nature!” admonition. Der dee der dee der. Some geniuses have been promoting this for a while now. The stoopid, it hurts. Hey assclowns, 🖕

The best way to take co2 out of the air is photosynthesis.
The foolish man cannot know this and the fool cannot understand that carbon dioxide has nothing to to with climate change.
Carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane, and ozone are trace gases that have almost zero greenhouse effect on climate change.
A fundamental blunder made by climate modelers is that water vapor, although a potent greenhouse gas, can be left off the list of greenhouse gases because it is not controlled by mankind. If water vapor cannot be controlled by mankind, and water vapor is the cause of climate change, then mankind has nothing to do with climate change.
Water vapor accounts for 98.35% of all greenhouse gases, and 100% of climate change in concert with the Sun.
The recent heat wave was caused by unexpected plume of water vapor into our atmosphere.
The Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai volcano erupted underwater in the South Pacific Ocean on January 15, 2022, and blasted an enormous plume of water vapor into Earth’s stratosphere, increasing the volume of water vapor by 10 to 30%. It may take five years for the heating effect to dissipate.
A 10% increase in the volume of water vapor produced by the eruption, is more than ten times the total volume of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Alchemists have never changed lead into gold although both are heavy. Both water vapor and carbon dioxide are powerful greenhouse gases. It is alchemy that our foolish scientists and funding politicians have been playing with to somehow connect carbon dioxide to climate change.
Their insane claims and policies can kill us all! The IPCC and others have been putzing around with such a bad assumption for fifty years with many erroneous predictions (poles are going to melt, NYC underwater, we are all going to die), billions spent, and no meaningful results.
To me, it is more pleasing to the mind if you identify the primary actor and cause of climate change as water vapor interacting with the Sun (sunspots, etc.), aerosols, and the oceans.
Future generations looking skyward wonder about those sun shadows moving across the landscape. The previous incarnation of civilization, lost the ability to bring them back to the dust they were created from. Crops fail from lack of sun, the rains fall inconsistently, and people shake their hands at the sky and blame “the gods” as humans die from the falling debris.
Contemplating the man caused end of life on earth, except maybe the tardigrades.
They already have these fascinating devices that remove CO2 from the atmosphere: they’re called “trees”.

Already there is a company building a pipeline across three states to carry compressed CO2 from Iowa ethanol plants for injection into deep strata in North Dakota.
Very correct. As I understand it, CO2 comprises all of 4 one hundredths of one percent of earth’s atmosphere. That is 0.04%! Even though it is often referred to as a “concentration” of green house gas, it is hardly true. Stupid is as stupid does. And we are meant to fall for this idiocy, and suffer from it. Let us all get a hint, and end this long term fraud, now!
