Thousands of parents in Mexico took to the streets last week to burn education materials that featured “Marxist-communist” indoctrination from the country’s department of education.
The Financial Times reported that one of the officials behind the push to indoctrinate children in Mexico was “a former Venezuelan government official.”
The books were woke, filled with “hard-to-follow material full of errors, a lack of basic language and mathematical exercises and irrelevant or highly age-inappropriate content.”
The books were so controversial that some governors in the country have refused to distribute them as they demonize capitalism and neoliberalism.
Fox News reported that at least 12,000 parents in southern Mexico attended the protest where the Marxist books were burned.
So far, more than 112,000 parent signatures have been submitted demanding that the government stop distributing the books.
The material has faced backlash even in Mexican news media.
“Mexico is at risk from a virus that people thought was eradicated — the communist virus,” Mexican news anchor Javier Alatorre said in front of a backdrop of a hammer and sickle with the country’s education officials. “They want to condemn Mexico to poverty, mediocrity, and hatred.”

how do these marxists weasel their way into these institutions?
Lie.....................
Most people try to ignore mosquitoes until they get bitten.
This should give people in the United States and the Great White North some good ideas about what to do concerning education.
The Mexican drug cartels are actively supporting them, all part of the same cabal.
Has NOBODY made the connection? The legitimate elected officials in Mexico have effectively surrendered their sovereignty over wide stretches of Mexican territory to the drug and human trafficking cartels. As have certain areas within the United States and much of the Mexican border been surrendered by US authorities.
Soros’ money
“how do these marxists weasel their way into these institutions?”
The schools, which are supposed to be policed by the parents and the community, allow the feds in by accepting their saying they can because they fund less than 8% of the money for education nation wide. So how do they get in there? The parents and communities let them in by voting for them and not doing something about the problems they partially fund until it bites them on the inconvenient. And besides electing the feds to do that, the locals also elect the governor and the school boards for the state. Watch what you ask for, you may elect it.

We need this to happen here, WAKE UP AMERICA.
They lie and deceive, playing on the emotions of easily offended folks.
No it ain’t. I live in Matamoros and work in Texas. They aren’t having this bullshit down there.
Oops. Just waking up and posted without my coffee. My apologies
And Tinseltown cash.
I’ve been saying, y’all parents gotta stand up! Expressing displeasure at a school board meeting won’t cut it. They ONLY respond to direct action.
😜🤦♂️👍.........................Happens to me too all the time!.............
Mexicans are a heck of a lot more conservative than the US or even their own government wants to admit.
The sad thing is that today their Supreme Court legalized abortion. Our governments and our institutions don’t give a hoot about we the people, regardless of country.
Mexico is putting the US to shame ... in many ways
Good for the people there. It needs to happen here.
Americans use to fight like that for their children. But now, we are a nation of laws which requires us to submit to those who violate the laws. Makes perfect sense.
And when they herd us all into cattle cars, we can comfort each other with the knowledge that we obeyed the law breakers that led us into slavery, because we are a nation of laws.
And all the conservative talk show hosts are quick to point out that we mustn’t ever resort to violence, so the law breakers have no fear of us at all.
Rush Limbaugh mentioned that our Founders did not believe that.
