What about the English language—you can’t get more “colonial” than that.
This could be fun to watch....

If they stop being Indians from India, can our Native Americans become Indians again?

Hindia, the land of the follower of the Hindu religion? I can understand how Hindia became India, but I cannot figure out how India became a slave name.
I am willing to call that country Bharat but I want to call our indigenous peoples Indians again.

I still prefer the name Bombay to the current country name of
Mumbai, but my personal opinion about the tonalities of certain words does not matter to them.

Good. Maybe the sensitive folk will stop freaking out when they see one of these.

This surprised me:
The oldest countries are
Armenia - 2492 BCE.
North Korea - 2333 BCE.
China - 2070 BCE.
India - 2000 BCE.
Have to check with Dianne Feinstein and Joe Biden to see if they remember from their childhoods this was true.

India needs to make it a crime for its citizens to communicate in English, which is the language of its former colonizer.
Can you imagine your life without speaking with an Indian customer service rep? We can only hope!!
BTW - the hateful anti-Christian Indian PM Modi needs to get it right. If we're going to go full Sanskrit, then we need to refer to Bharat as 'भारत'. Can you say 'भारत' 3x without hesitation?! LOL!!
To: Red Badger
Bharat is already India’s name, according to Wikipedia:
India, officially the Republic of India (ISO: Bhārat Gaṇarājya),[21] is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by area; the most populous country as of June 2023;[22][23] and from the time of its independence in 1947, the world’s most populous democracy.[24][25][26]

The name India comes from the Indus River and was used already by the ancient Greeks and Romans...long before the British ever got to India.
