Vivek Ramaswamy's '10 Truths' Hit the Conservative Bullseye
Red State ^ | 08/18/2023 | Mike Miller

Posted on 08/18/2023 6:06:15 PM PDT by SeekAndFind

Vivek Ramaswamy, the previously little-known 38-year-old multimillionaire biotech entrepreneur who has risen from relative political obscurity to the upper echelons of conservatism and the 2024 race for the Republican presidential nomination, on Thursday revealed his "10 truths" on social media.

The 10 Conservative Commandments? They should be; unshakably so.

As has proven to be his style, Ramaswamy wasn't afraid to wade into the hot-button issues of the radical left, right off the bat, beginning with "God is real," and "There are two genders."

  1. God is real.
  2. There are only two genders.
  3. Human flourishing requires fossil fuels.
  4. Reverse racism is racism.
  5. An open border is no border.
  6. Parents determine the education of their children.
  7. The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to mankind.
  8. Capitalism lifts people from poverty.
  9. There are three branches of government, not four.
  10. The U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms in history.

It occurred to me as I typed the above list that Vivek's "10 truths" constitute the foundational beginning of America, and devoid of any one of them, this country would not have become what it became — a country that the Democrat Party continues to try to destroy as we know it — insidiously so, and never-ending.

TRUTH.

1. God is real.
2. There are two genders.
3. Human flourishing requires fossil fuels.
4. Reverse racism is racism.
5. An open border is no border.
6. Parents determine the education of their children.
7. The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to mankind.

8. Capitalism lifts people up from poverty.

9. There are three branches of the U.S. government, not four.

10. The U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms in history.

During a recent event at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda, California, Ramaswamy shared several details of his upbringing and his concern that the American Dream may not exist for further generations. Incidentally, Vivek was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.

My parents came to this country 40 years ago with no money. In a single generation, I have gone on to found multi-billion dollar companies and did it while marrying my wife, Apoorva, and raising our two sons. That is the American dream, and I am deeply worried that that American dream will not exist for my two sons and their generation.

Ramaswamy's revelations reveal not only hope for all Americans with a dream who are willing to work to achieve their dreams — but also a feeling of despair, given the efforts of the far-left to fundamentally change this country into a wealth-redistributing juggernaut the likes of which the world has never seen.

I'm reminded of a line from the lyrics of  "I'd Love to Change the World" by the classic 70s rock band, Ten Years After:

Tax the rich, feed the poor, til there are no rich no more.

The entire Democrat Party was seen vigorously nodding in approval. That is, except for taxing themselves. You know, the Democrat "Rules for thee, but not for me" thing.

Ramaswamy also shared his vision for keeping America strong on a recent Fox News appearance. One of the things that continue to impress me about this guy is his resolve. Politicians make promises, some of which they keep, some of which they have no intention of keeping. (See: "Joe Biden," "Democrat Party.")

In my not-so-humble opinion, Vivek Ramaswamy is the real deal.

Yes, I am and I just did. By the way with that abbreviation you just posted, you are very close to violating FR rules against obscenities and attacks against fellow posters who disagree with you,

The only thing I would question him on is his statement "God is real."

Ok, who is God? We can't forget that this country was founded on Judeo/Christian principles. And if his concept of God does not match that, then his belief's in God might not match our belief in Who God is, whether we be Catholic or Protestant.

Thoughts?

#11:

Vivek also said taxpayers should be on the hook for these sexual pervert transtesticles in the military to go through a transition while serving. I read it here. This is sick.

RE: Thoughts?

Obviously his religion is NOT Christian and not based on the Judaeo Christian tradition. His personal ethics however, align with Judaeo Christian values. There are a lot of commonalities in terms of morality between Hindus and Christians.

I am not certain if the framers of our consitution had other religions in mind when they wrote the First Amendment. They obviously were aware of the existence of Islam, but neverspecifically made it a concern.

Just for everyone’s edification, Hinduism has monotheistic (one God) as well as polytheistic (many Gods) elements...

The current president is a Roman Catholic and #44 is a Congregationalist, a denomination once known as the Puritans. But I'll take Vivek over both any day.

RE: Here: https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4176182/posts

That link is his view of Taiwan and China.

So, you are in favor of America spending money to defend and probably sending troops to Taiwan ( e.g. going to war ) against China and anyone who disagrees with you is a Trojan Horse?

If not fighting for Taiwan is a non-starter for you, well, it’s your prerogative.

It’s a foreign policy issue that should be debated definitely and I don’t know Trump’s or anybody else’s stance on this one.

RE: Watching Christians being stoned by Muslims in Dearborn, Michigan

So, you’re equating Hindus with Muslims now? I think you know that India’s Hindus have problems with many of its Muslims like we do.
