If they float over US territory they should be shot down.

A real spy balloon or a cheap pico balloon launched by a club as a hobby ??
Maybe we should know before launching a fighter jet to fire an expensive missile to take down a hobby balloon

If you want to fly within the US, be prepared to take your shoes off, your belt off and possibly get felt up by some TSA flunky. Chinese balloons are a different story, though - they get to glide over military facilities or your backyard with no problems.

"The Pentagon is tracking another balloon that flew over Hawaii and is moving toward Mexico, U.S. officials said, according to NBC News. Three U.S. officials told NBC that the object did not fly over any sensitive locations." Don't believe a word the Biden Pentagon says. Cameras don't have to be pointed only down! All of US territory around Hawaii is 'sensitive'.
