This is a context you won’t find elsewhere {smiles}. The phone has been blowing up…. Context and some details matter.
First, Carlson was being paid about $20 million a year by Murdoch. He had about 3 years left on his contract and will be paid the full contract amount. Carlson found out about 10 minutes before Fox Corp made the announcement. They did not “part ways,” Tucker Carlson was fired.
(Via WSJ) – Mr. Carlson, whose contract was renewed in 2021, will be paid out for the rest of his contract, people familiar with the matter said. Mr. Carlson is paid about $20 million a year, one of the people said. Mr. Carlson found out he was being let go about 10 minutes before the network announced his departure, the people said. (link)
For financial context, remember Rupert Murdoch paid Megyn Kelly $15 million (Via Harper Collins) for the 2015/2016 operation against Donald Trump. Paying $60 to $100 million to get rid of Carlson’s antagonistic voice is small money to Murdoch Inc. in the grand scheme of things. [Murdoch has also paid for Ron DeSantis to oppose Trump]
Carlson will not be asked to sign an NDA, is not bound by a “non-compete” clause following the contract nullification by Fox Corp, and will be free to do anything he wants in any venture. Additionally, he will be free to say whatever he wants about the issues at Fox and speak freely, or not, without any legal or contractual constraints. Keep all of that in mind.

He must be more convinced than ever about the decline of society and that he has been at least generally on the right track in terms of the commentary he’s been writing and cable-casting every weeknight.
The problem is that all this is speculation (albeit probably pretty accurate for the most part).
If we could see Sundance's credentials or his sources as to Murdoch's and Fox's thinking, that would be a big help.
As an aside, I am not complaining about Sundance. I'm just saying that there is so much intel around us from all directions, we don't know what to believe unless we can consider it against a backdrop of sources and methods.
BlackRock Increases Position in Fox Corporation (FOXA)
Fintel reports that BlackRock has filed a 13G/A form with the SEC disclosing ownership of 45.74MM shares of Fox Corporation, Class A (FOXA). This represents 15.1% of the company.
In their previous filing dated January 27,
Then Bongino and Tucker booted.

This is Murdoch giving Dominion $800 million in seed money to keep Trump from returning to the White House.

Will Tucker run for President?
On AM radio this morning there was speculation that he might.
Wanna bet he signed both anyway...
Re #22: have read Sundance for years. He is a highly trustworthy reporter. He often does not divulge his ultimate sources, true, but because of his honesty and good judgment, Sundance conveys dependable information.
Scary thought...
If Deep State feels comfortable enough to abandon its attempt to rehabilitate the last, best enemedia asset it burned on Election Night three years ago...
Something wicked this way comes, folks.
Hilarious 😂
Wasn’t Sundance a FReeper way back when?
Then this is the best thing that could happen.
An unconstrained Tucker that can be honest about Fox News.
The left may mock him now but they should really be scared sh*tless.
So far as I know, nobody at Fox, including Carlson, has opined on the 2020 voting legitimacy, meaning the actual casting & counting of votes.
Instead, they've talked about how Democrats got voting laws changed, perhaps illegitimately, just before the 2020 election, to make legal what had previously been illegal.
Mr. My Pillow Lindel, who fully supported claims the votes themselves were tampered with, ended up paying millions of dollars because he couldn't prove such claims.
Pretty plausible case here.
Unsurprisingly, Sundance has no idea what he’s talking about.
If and I say “if” Tucker was fired for cause as has been “alleged”, and I’m sure that is the position Fox will take, that would make his contract null and void and, in that case, he may not be entitled to any remuneration (severance) or payout of the remaining terms of his contract.
It is “alleged” that his firing had something to do with the lawsuit filed by Abby Grossberg who alleges she was bullied, subjected to sexual harassment antisemitic comments. It should be noted that Tucker’s senior executive producer, Justin Wells, has also been terminated.
Also allegedly, and again I say “allegedly”, Tucker made disparaging comments about Fox News management in communications that turned up in the discovery process in the Dominion suit that have not been made public, and that may have also played a role.
You can’t make disparaging comments to fellow employees about upper management without consequence, if that is what happened.
Also, an NDA and or a NCC would have been signed at the contract’s renewal so unless Tucker is successful in a wrongful termination suit and prove he did not break the terms of his contract, depending on the wording, the provisions of such agreements could and likely would still be enforceable.
Time will tell. I read Tucker has retained an entertainment attorney well versed in contract law and wrongful terminations, the same one I hear that Don Lemon has retained.
.
FR has been overrun by Trump derangement maniacs.
The thing is, they think they are silencing/suppressing Tucker by firing him. If anything, I think it far more likely they have liberated him.
Independent news has been growing like crazy. The corporate media has been steadily sinking as their ancient audiences slowly die off.

The People’s Pundit/What are the Odds
Those are some of the sources I use. Some of them are liberals and some of them are foreign, but I believe all of the above to be worth watching/listening to. They’re not just establishment propaganda unlike the corporate media. I’m sure Tucker Carlson will join that list.
Huh? Why would he do that?
Unsurprisingly, Sundance has no idea what he’s talking about.

You lost any sense of credibility right out of the gate with that idiotic statement.
So who are your sources that so prove Sundance wrong?
I’ll wait...
