Steve Bannon gave an extraordinary take on Donald Trump’s potential VP pick during his War Room podcast.
Bannon said that he received a standing ovation when he mentioned Robert F Kennedy, Jr. as Trump’s potential VP at the American Freedom Alliance Conference.
“By the way, I just want to make an aside before I bring Derek Harvey in,” Bannon said.
“When I did Q-and-A and I did about an hour of Q-and-A, they had a little technical problem,” he added.
“But I did Q-and-A, which I think people were here. I want to make sure people understand this,” Bannon continued.
“Somebody asked about Robert F. Kennedy and the great speech at Hillsdale, his opening speech and what did I think about his prospects. And I said, “Look, I’m a Kari Lake person, but if Kari Lake becomes governor, as she should if this court case, or if not, she runs for the Senate.”
“If she’s not available to be Trump’s VP that Bobby Kennedy would be, I think, be an excellent choice for President Trump to consider,” Bannon said.
“There was a standing ovation and this was a very hardcore MAGA war room posse crowd,” he said.
“I think that is a signal to the political elites in this country that something very different is going on. And I thought it was quite extraordinary.” Bannon added.
“Robert Kennedy Jr. has huge support in the American populist movement. Look for the GOP elites to start their attacks on Bobby any day now,” he said.

Last week, The Daily Fetched reported that Trump’s team shared interesting insights into who could be Trump’s potential 2024 running mate.
According to Trump insiders, the 45th president is likely to choose a candidate who is “ideologically aligned,” has “charisma,” and is “loyal.”
According to a Washington Examiner report, the following Republican women could make Trump’s shortlist:
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem New York Rep. Elise Stefanik Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders Former Arizona journalist Kari Lake
Now, it seems Robert F. Kennedy could be added to the list.
He doesn’t want a VP that makes the Dems more encouraged to take him down.
Sorry, RFJ Jr.
Trump would get along just fine with RFK Jr. I’d vote for this in a second, not that it would matter much.
IKR!!!?
I did a quick skimming of his wiki page and he looks like a greenie leftist at first blush.
Can anyone elaborate on why he would be so desirable?
Sure. I think having an 80+ year old president with a certified left wing nut as his VP would be a swell idea. What’s the worst that could happen?
Honestly, If they did, they would have the populist wing of both the right and left consolidated.
RFK Jr has been speaking out against the deep state and how the government doesn’t work for the people...
I don’t think its going to happen, but if that did happen, it would be something to watch.. the political coalition that would create would absolute disrupt the entire political establishment.
Has ANYONE EVER LISTENED to JFK Jr. speak?
What an annoying POS!
Plus his (non) DUI (non) arrest when he was pulled over in DC late at night: “I was on my way to cast my vote in Congress...”
All Trump needs to do now is promise to hire a chemtrails guy as head of Homeland Security and he’ll have this thing wrapped up.
Pretty sure his last impeachment insurance pick is what happened to the country on abortion.
This just won't happen.
Wrong Kennedy, I think that was Patrick.
NEVER!
You’re right. Stay with Biden.
This will be Trump's last term in office. We need a VP pick that can pick up where Trump leaves off in draining the swamp and rolling back Big Government.
Sure, RFK Jr. has made some good noises in the past, but so has Tulsi Gabbard. But I wouldn't trust either one as VP with a leg up on the Presidency in 2028.
If he’s floating the name this early it’s almost certainly not going to be him.
FR’s pro Soviet communists are naturally in favor
Well then THANK YOU for the correction!
