Right now Chris Christie has been shooting his mouth off about how the current Republicans running against President Donald Trump in the presidential primary are afraid to attack him while implying that he has what it takes to go mano a mano against Trump. However, look at this scene from the 2016 presidential campaign when on the heels of Christie endorsing Trump, he is ordered to "GO HOME!" by his Lord and Master. Watch how Christie instantly obeys.
As you can see even Chunk Yogurt, no fan of Trump, revels in the utter domination of Christie by his Lord and Master. Yeah, and now Mr. Tough Guy thinks he has what it takes to go up against Trump.
PING!
The word “dominated” implies something perverted . . .
lmao - the way he pats him on ass... like some little fatso kid...
“right ova there.”
Who left the pigpen gate open?
fatso obviously has an axe to grind
No it doesn’t
I don’t think it was a big secret during the 2016 campaign that Trump resented the way Christie was always pushing his way to get into camera shots and news video clips with Trump. You could see it even on Election Night when Trump was declared the winner and he came onto the stage to make his acceptance speech.
I got the impression, Trump said that because Chris just would not shut up. He was ‘too happy’. Trump was trying to absorb the moment and improvise his next comments to the press without having more free advice jammed into his ears at the same time. Donald couldn’t just yell “Chris, STFU!! I can’t hear myself think!”
Trump: That’ll do Chris, that’ll do...
Something in my memory is telling me that there was a reason that Trump told Christie to “go home”, and it was an order of compassion because there was something going on that Christie needed to take care of rather than being there for Trump.
I can’t remember what it was, but I remember that I thought highly of Trump for doing so. I don’t now if it was an illness in Christie’s family, or something else he needed to be there for. I don’t care for Christie one bit, but this, IIRC, was not a case of Trump ordering Christie around. He was showing consideration and compassion, as Trump always does.
Christie’s a Democrat. In 2012, he proved he’d do anything to elect Obama. Running against Trump can only pull a few points away from any other not-Trump candidate. So why would a Democrat make sure that Trump wins the primary? (Please don’t make me spell this out.)
Christie would win at a food eating contest

His office shut down a major superhighway, and then laughed at how much it would piss of all of his liberal constituents who used it. (As if New Jersey had no conservatives? Who voted for him?) Someone died.
Just imagine how many poor people in the world could avoid starvation if Krispy Kreme Chris would have eaten less food.
It does, actually.
As for the title, it was a foregone conclusion for any venue the two would appear together in.
That’s not how I recall it.
Christie was working his butt off at almost every campaign stop.
He deserved a break. Trump told him that.
I don’t see this as admonishing him.
In fact, let’s be honest here, Christie would have been a much better AG than the one Trump appointed.
That sounds familiar, nikos, thank you.
As I said, I don’t care for Christie, but I do care for truth. I don’t know what it was, but the circumstances were definitely not Trump telling Christie to take a hike, it was Trump being concerned with Christie for some reason and telling him to head home and take care of what he needed to take care of.
