This article from the Grio starts out with the following:
Black patients modify speech, dress up to reduce medical bias, survey shows
Black Californians report adjusting their appearance, changing behavior, minimizing questions and signaling to providers that they are educated to reduce chance of discrimination in hospitals and doctors’ offices.
A young mother in California’s Antelope Valley bathes her children and dresses them in neat clothes, making sure they look their very best — at medical appointments. “I brush their teeth before they see the dentist. Just little things like that to protect myself from being treated unfairly,” she told researchers.
I always brush my teeth, take a shower, and put on clean clothes before I go to the dentist, or any other medical appointment.
I don’t see what race has to do with it.
Why do some people insist on seeing racism everywhere?
Reatarded people gotta tard... It’s in their non binary genes.
Bookmark under, “you can’t make this shit up!”
If the only tool you have is a hammer... all your problems look like nails
I’ve often gone to the dentist straight from work. I tell them that and ask if I can please get the complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste now so I can brush first. Of course they are happy to oblige.
Why do some people insist on seeing racism everywhere?
!. First on the replacement list
2. They don’t obey the master plans
3. The explain how we operate
4. Never hire anybody smarter than you
5. They don’t like being owned
Because THEY are the racist!
Well, it’s true.
Brushing your teeth is racist, because,
you’re trying to make them WHITER, and white is racist.
Now, somebody has to figure out a way to grow teeth that are not white to begin with. Or figure out a way to color them permanently to black or brown or green or blue or whatever.
Because the racism industry knows it works and they get rich and powerful by calling everything racist.
LOL! I got 30 days in Facebook Jail for posting something similar to that!
Uh, gee… I was a little kid in the 60s. My folks made sure I was bathed and dressed nice for doctor appointments, church, school and even going to the movies.
I am permanently banned from FaceBook for posting a picture of the crucifixion.
I’ve been brushing my teeth with straight Baking Soda for the last fifty five years. At the old age of 76 I still have a mouth full of teeth. One cracked and had to be pulled.
I used to shampoo my hair but after I rubbed it all off on the headboard when young I now just use a bar of soap around the edges.
Makes them easy to spot though ... they just have stupid written on their forehead and a mouth to reinforce it.
Who cares?
Because it becomes their worldview. Its one of the filters they keep on all the time.
Of course, have to get those coffee and tobacco stains off one’s teeth to make them white again.
And the quest for maximum racial absurdity continues unabated.
With no end in sight.
“I always brush my teeth, take a shower, and put on clean clothes before I go to the dentist, or any other medical appointment.”
One morning I had a heart attack. Before I called 911 I took a shower, shaved, brushed my teeth, and got dressed. On the way to the hospital they did CPR for 11 minutes and administered 2 AED shocks to bring me back to life. Pretty sure there was no racial aspect to any of that.
