I don’t think we should criticize DeSantis for being out for his own political career. That is what they all are out for, even when they pretend they aren’t.
The one thing you can say about all of them is that they all want to be president. Even those with a faint-to-nonexistent chance. Simple as that.
There are plenty of good reasons not to be in favor of DeSantis for president, especially at this time.

Most people are seriously getting tired of politicians, especially when it's their political career that is their motivation for doing so.
We've seen where that leads us to, graft & corruption.
I appreciate you thoughts, even if I do not agree with them, because that is what makes this country great. Not diversity, nor homogeny.
I would prefer to see leaders who do it for the nation, instead of using politics as a career choice where they suck off of the citizenry teats for a lifetime, and often times until their death. They need to have to deal with the laws they create. Then and only then will politicians become honest.
