Two illegal migrants from the Republic of Honduras were busted on Tuesday in Nebraska after shooting and killing a North American bald eagle with the intention of cooking and eating it. The two men, who only spoke Spanish, told authorities through an interpreter app that they taught the bird was a vulture.
Who the heck could mistake a red headed or black headed vulture with a bald eagle? And further, who would want to eat a nasty vulture?

I used to watch bald eagles from my deck play. There would be a half dozen of them just soaring and throwing something to each other.

Back in the day, I had canned alligator and ostrich meat from Sportsman’s Warehouse. Can’t say they tasted particularly distinctive.

How did the illegals get a firearm? There are an abundance of possible charges for violating both state and federal laws. If the feds whimp out the state of Nebraska should throw the book at them and after jail time in Nebraska they should immediately deported. I’m all for immediately deporting any family members as well.

If they had waited a while the food geniuses would be coming out with Plant-based bald eagle wings they could have eaten.
