We long-ago reached the point of negative marginal utility on “public education spending.”

Every dollar added now actually makes it worse.

The reasons are that more money simply supports a dysfunctional, bloated and politicized bureaucracy and a failed and destructive ideology.

23 of the 25 countries ahead of the US have something in common (the other two are Japan and South Korea).

Let's see...what could it be?

The bloated and unaccountable school bureaucracies are one cause. The other is flooding the country with millions of illiterate Latin American peasants.

From some stats I've see, the scores for US whites are where you would expect them to be, in the upper half of the northwest European scores.

Shut down the borders
We are forced to educate any 3rd worlder that can cross the border and they aren’t exactly fluent in English.
We already have enough dumb people, we don’t need to import more.

For the 2018-2019 school year, the U.S. ranked a very impressive 4th when it came to per student public funding of K-12 education!

It only ranked a very abysmal 26th when it came to average student performance in math and reading

I wonder if the data used for the US includes private and home-schooled students, or just spending and results for PUBLIC/UNION schools.
