My wish:
McCarthy withdraws and nominates Jim Jordan.
Jim Jordan accepts and agrees to be Speaker.
Jim Jordan says “no backroom deals, no buying votes, let’s just do a straight up vote and get on with business”.
We’d see pretty quick who is interested in honesty and principles and who has their own agenda.
My suspicion is that many of the 20 Patriotic Holdouts would have a hissy fit and start screaming Jordan is RINO traitor. Only a suspicion mind you, but based on reports many of the Holdouts have been trying to blackmail McCarthy into secret deals.

It’s not crazy, it’s incredible. This is how legislators should do it. Debate, discuss and deliberate.
This is the first debate on the House floor in many years.
The Pelosi model is “do what I tell you.” Guess what? It’s over.
Nominate Trump and vote him in as Speaker.
At this point they should neve4 back down. They should be talking months not days or vote counts. They should nominate some Democrats or some outsiders. Nominate an old school Liberal, Tulsi maybe. Nominate from the left of center. Nominate non politicians. This needs to be an F.U to the whole system.
The House has no power of the purse until next November. String it out until then.
Kevin needs to retreat if for no other reason than his presumptuous arrogance in occupying the Speaker’s office prematurely. There is a process for selection of a Speaker and until it is complete there is no Speaker.
His turn does not apply. There is a process and it does not include assertion or proclamation or appointment to office.

Republican leadership has used their positions to try to weigh primaries. They cut off funding to conservatives, they fund moderate and liberal candidates, and they openly mock us for it.
They pass a $1700 Billion dollar pork bill during the lame duck session giving in to anything Democrats demand but claim to be powerless to give us $35 Billion for a southern border wall when we have Presidency, Senate and House.
They go on CNN and shit on Trump.
This doesn’t even count the nonsense they pushed with Boehner and Ryan.
And then rather than negotiate with conservatives they threaten to cut deals with Democrats?
This isn’t just about McCarthy by a long shot. They can either change the structure that would keep their interference out of the primaries or they can go to hell.
Enuf vote attempts for this loser! Pitch him OUT!
