Brittney Griner will face horrific conditions during her time in a Russian prison ... with environments that will include homophobia, racism and 16-hour work days.
According to The Nation's Dave Zirin, prisoners in Mordovia -- where Griner was taken to earlier this month -- are barely treated like humans.
Bigotry is commonplace, medical care is nearly nonexistent ... and, Zirin says, inmates are expected to sew the uniforms for police and guards.

I wish she wasn’t going to have to face racism and homophobia. I can’t sleep at night worrying about it. Nobody should have to be racisted against or homophobiated in this day and age. We have come so far to rise above such horrible things. I’m sure her 16 hour workdays would be far more enjoyable and productive if she didn’t have to deal with that other crap.

I have no doubt that is accurate. Putin respected Trump and Trump would not have goaded him into invading Ukraine in the first place. Putin is not going to do *anything* the Poopy Pants regime asks him to do.
Biden's handlers have crapped all over Putin for two years and all of what we are discussing is happening for that reason.
Final note: While the Griner person is a stupid and disgusting thing, I don't believe she really deserves years of torture. Yet, she did bring it on herself, which is a very painful irony. Even more painful to know that the leftists she supported are the reason she is still there. Life is not fair and it is especially not fair to the stupid & ignorant who are full of hubris. My retro advice to her is don't be stupid, don't be ignorant, and don't be so full of hubris that you think you are immune to the rules that prevail over the little people.

Not Siberia, but Mordovia about 270 miles SE of Moscow, close to the same latitude as Moscow though. When you search for Mordovia prisons, about ten show up with a big concentration of them at this location:

Nothing makes me happier than reading this story, wonder how she feels about the USA now!! I hope she serves every single minute of her sentence NO DEALS, NO PRISONER SWAPS!! Ungrateful bitch is getting the KARMA she deserves, after the wonderful opportunities this country has given her!!
