Capitalism?
Taking your own property, putting a price on it and selling it on the open market = capitalism
Stealing your employers property, putting a price on it and selling it on the black market = theft and fraud
Elon selling blue check marks for $8 = capitalism
Twitter employees selling blue check marks on the black market for $15K ... well you get the point
No.
Fortunately, correctable fraud since those committing it did not hold the kind of power that Socialism requires that the enforces of Socialism have. But in any economic system of fallen man there will be some fraud. Capitalism is no exception.
Chinese style capitalism. Roundhouse kick to the temple.
Bribery and corruption are a staple of business. Nice how they chided conservatives for the stuff they did. 13-15k is a good way in how they afforded their lifestyle of lattes, naps, little work and likely Japanese anime collection (otaku).
The employees were enriching themselves at the expense of the company. Also, when Twitter went public, it’s user base was overstated by a factor of 5 or 10. This is a fraud in and of itself. Anyone in digital marketing knew the user base was way over stated.
“Capitalism?”
Theft. Kind of like selling fake Nike shoes, since you devalue the real product in the process.
“Capitalism?”
Gangster extortionism. The modus operandi of communists, socialists and fascists.
