Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts on Tuesday blocked the handover of President Trump’s tax forms to House Democrats in their latest fishing expedition targeting Trump.

Democrats and their supporters in Big Tech, Big Pharma, and Big Corporations are quickly turning America into a socialist state where opposition candidates are continually harassed and attacked using the Stalin rule.

On Tuesday Roberts blocked the latest unconstitutional investigation on Trump.

Contrary to some comments here, Roberts is NOT a liberal. He may not be a reliable conservative, but it is wrong to call him a liberal.

Roberts must be feeling a tad bit guilty of what he has done to this country.

If he would have allowed TX V PA to go forward we wouldnt be in this mess we are in.

Well yes. The government already HAS Trump’s tax information. The IRS. If there was a problem with his taxes, the IRS would be the agency to take action.

Congress is trying to turn this into a dog and pony show, they are so overcome with TDS they are letting the real business of America slide.

On second thought, maybe it is best that the present gaggle of fools in the majority spend their time going after Trump than running the USA down further.

Have to give Traitor Roberts credit on this one.

It's a political decision. He is afraid of being impeached when his role in with the FISA court and Russiagate gets exposed in the next Congress.

“Just how long is “temporary”? Cam someone please explain how this works?”

We’re at the end of the current Congress (expires January 3rd)

So temporary might as well mean permanent, since the new congress will likely not renew the subpoena (because the committee heads will have changed).

Even if Roberts lifts his stay, the Congress won’t be able to do much, hold a hearing maybe. But the fire has gone out. Their power is quickly waning and will expire.

“They already went through them when Trump went after Barak over his birth certificate.”

Yes, of course they did. But his returns are all on the up-and-up because his accountants do the returns, he just signs them.

I’m an accountant and have seen corporate tax returns. There’s nothing there but what he can legally do under tax law.

And THAT’S what they’re after. They want to use Trump’s taxes to create a brouhaha to change some tax provision that his company (and similar companies) get. Because they’re against billionaires (that aren’t Democrats).

It’s all a scheme and a sham. And is coming to an end.

I think getting Trump's tax returns was a necessary precursor for Democrats to indict Trump before the new congress takes over.

I'm certain Trump's returns have been reviewed hundreds of times without any irregularities being found. I'm also sure the Democrats would have issued an indictment on nothing but thin air after getting their hands on the tax returns just to get in on record.

Roberts definitely sensed a shift in the wind and is tacking.

I am not a lawyer, but the case cited was not a quo warranto action to remove officials elected by cheating. And it violated the plenary powers of Congress to fix the problem.

I assume the tax returns probably favored Trump if Roberts intervened.

How many posters have read any of the entries on this case?

I’m guessing... not many.

Just makes it easier to post in an ignorant manner, I guess.
