Russian nationals living in Estonia will have their firearms forcibly confiscated by the police if they refuse to hand them over voluntarily under a new law.
The gun confiscation measure will also apply to Belarusians living in the eastern European country.
The government has finalized the details of the bill and it will be put before the legislature, after which it is expected to be voted into law.

Reminds me of an old saying: “You become what you hate.”

Sorry if my remark upset you, as it wasn't my intention.
I have no problem with you.
I was trying to point out the many slackers our government has created and allows to suck at the public teat.
... because welfare benefits are tax‐free, their dollar value was greater than the amount of take‐home income a worker would receive from an entry‐level job.

“fully mobilize”???
They don’t have the working equipment to do that.
They don’t even have the manpower - that’s why he wanted NOrth Korean soldiers

“This is a wise move. Russians have proven they are not to be trusted.”
So you’d be cool with Biden taking away the 2nd amendment rights of southerners...cuz you know the civil war stuff?
God given rights are not to be enfringed, whether speech, religion or guns.

No. And your comparison is wildly off-base.
To: ScottinVA
No it isn’t if one believes in the God given rights. None cannot pick and choose which ones apply to who, regardless of which group they belong in.

Yes, it most certainly is. We in this country have in our Constitution god-given rights. Gun ownership by potentially hostile foreigners is not stipulated in the Estonian Constitution. Further… Russia has recently threatened Estonia and the rest of the Baltics. It’s entirely understandable the Estonian would not trust the Russians.
To: ScottinVA
You’re probably right about the laws regarding gun ownership in Estonia. Just as freedom of religion, speech and assembly isn’t like the US Constitution in the Ukraine, Russia nor Estonia.
But it is a reason for us to stay out of foreign entanglements of which we have little or no interest.
