Elon Musk responded to former President Donald Trump’s claim that Musk is “another bull—t artist.” Trump was referring to Musk backing out of the Twitter deal and saying Musk voted for him, although Musk says that he voted Republican for the first time in 2022 for Texas Rep. Mayra Flores.
Musk said the deal was off, citing Twitter’s “bot” problem, but this could be far from over, as Musk’s deal might be settled in court. Trump said during his rally in Anchorage, Alaska:
“Elon. Elon. Elon. He’s not going to buy Twitter … And where did you hear that before? From me … He’s got himself a mess, I’ve looked at his contract … Ya know, Elon says he’s never voted Republican, but I didn’t know that because he told me that he voted for me, so he’s another bull—t artist.”
It is unclear whether Musk voted for Trump, Biden, or at all in 2020; however, he did mention that he voted for former President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012.
Another reason Trump could have called him out is that Musk noted that he is leaning towards and will likely vote for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) in 2024 if he chooses to run for President.
Musk responded today to Trump on Twitter:
“I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset. Dems should also call off the attack – don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency.”
Although Musk said he would vote Republican, it does not seem likely he will vote for Trump in 2024 if Trump decides to run for a second term. Musk added:
“Trump would be 82 at end of term, which is too old to be chief executive of anything, let alone the United States of America. If DeSantis runs against Biden in 2024, then DeSantis will easily win – he doesn’t even need to campaign.”
When syndicated talkshow host Joe Pagliarulo mentioned the Trump administration’s accomplishments, Elon said:
“Yeah, but too much drama. Do we really want a bull in a china shop situation every single day!? Also, I think the legal maximum age for start of Presidential term should be 69.”

Recently, in the New York Times/Sienna College poll, a Michigan teacher who voted for Biden in 2020 said:
“I’m just going to come out and say it: I want younger blood … I am so tired of all old people running our country. I don’t want someone knocking on death’s door.”
It will be an interesting primary if DeSantis and Trump both run in 2024, but Musk has made it clear that he will support DeSantis if he runs.
But Biden won’t be running in 2024. Newsome is Nancy’s guy.
I’m fine with either Trump or DeSantis in 2024. Trump’s opinion of Musk and Musk’s opinion of Trump are meaningless to me - I don’t care what two noisy billionaires think of each other.
Hate to say it but this seems obvious to me at least: We do not HAVE until 2024 or even to Januarfy of 23. The poops (demopoops) are actually trying to destroy the US and they are in a hurry.

I also want to clarify that neither Trump or DeSantis are politically correct or woke.

Boomers are out numbered two to one if you only count GenY and GenZ adding in GenX it’s nearly three to one it’s time for boomers to step aside or you will be pushed aside by sheer numbers. Desantis is younger and a Hispanic both of which give him points to the other than old boomer white guy vote which is getting smaller everyday. I’d vote for Desantis over Trump any day of the week and twice on Sunday he doesn’t carry the same baggage ,he is fiscally conservative in a real sense and has the youthfulness to bring in the much needed GenY and GenX votes he is a winner if he runs. We all know Newsom is being groomed baring some huge black scandal he will be the dems pick with a minority VP or gay VP that’s a given.

I like DeSantis just fine but there’s such a thing as the right person at the right time and considering the head winds America is pointed towards I believe Trump is the right person for the job without looking for fault in DeSantis.

Also I believe The Donald knows much more than he lets on regarding the Musk-Twitter legal play.
Robert Barnes says there is a pre-agreement clause in the contract with Twitter that says they have to expose all of their bot accounts which they have refused to do. Barnes says the fake bot accounts could add up to 40-50% of their cliental! IE, they really screwed the advertisers and Twitter would be facing lawsuits over that, too. So it may be that Trump is the bs artist on this one. Branes said Musk would probably win the court case or he could negotiate a very heft discount on the purchase.
Speak for yourself sparky a lot of people want Desantis he is gaining momentum and will be a real force by 2024. The Don will be too old as will the geezer in office now. So Desantis is an actual Latino as in Latin origin the real kind. Does having great great grandparents from Europe really make one European American or just another American who happens to have immigrants nearly a century ago. I votes happily for the Don the first time and the second he is in the sunset years it’s time to let younger people run things it’s coming in a big way. I registered 200+ new voters this summer in my lectures they all will vote it’s too easy on campus rigby next to the food for a whole week before the general election. Takes all of 5 minutes it’s good to see young people fired up and doing their civic duty. I have long said we should have mandatory franchise that way every one has a skin in the game and politicians have to win the actual hearts and minds of the people not just special interest groups. I can tell you that GenZ is not interested in old white guys telling them what to do anymore.
The problem with DeSantis is......He's a “POLITICIAN” and a good one as Governor.....But He would never dare to expose the swamp like Trump did...let alone clean it up!...we'd be back to “business as usual” in the swamp and pretending everything is fine....Sweep the Treason under the rug...Nobody goes to jail... Age is just a number and everyone is different. The realtor I bought this house through was 88 and a human dynamo. The first time I saw him he was out in 100+ degree heat stomping around the perimeter of this property with the surveyors. He kept special boots in his ginormous Caddy for such occasions. He kept working past age 90 and finally had to retire after losing his eyesight.
Trump has that kind of wild energy so I’m not worried.
