Desantis is younger and a Hispanic both of which give him points to the other than old boomer white guy vote which is getting smaller everyday. I’d vote for Desantis over Trump any day of the week and twice on Sunday he doesn’t carry the same baggage ,he is fiscally conservative in a real sense and has the youthfulness to bring in the much needed GenY and GenX votes he is a winner if he runs. We all know Newsom is being groomed baring some huge black scandal he will be the dems pick with a minority VP or gay VP that’s a given.

I like DeSantis just fine but there’s such a thing as the right person at the right time and considering the head winds America is pointed towards I believe Trump is the right person for the job without looking for fault in DeSantis.
