Ah, that’d explain why Putin and the Kremlin didn’t say a single word in any on-the-record international forum about biolabs in Ukraine for the last eight years and waited until after the Q followers started regurgitating rumors in an endless circle jerk with no clear primary source.
Did Russia miss the memo where, as a UNSC seat occupier with a level of “parliamentary privilege” alongside diplomatic immunity far above that of nations only in the General Assembly, it’s supposed to speak up if it has prima facae evidence of violations of international law that threaten sovereign nations?
Russia very occasionally remembers to talk about the biolabs. It really isn’t that big a deal to them.
NATO expansion is clearly such a big affront to Russia that it openly threatened two historically neutral countries that for decades have refused to join the club, into fast-tracking their membership.
Someone send Putin that Dale Carnegie book, Aesop’s Fables, and Uncle Remus. Wall-to-wall war feverish Russian propaganda over less than four months, managed to do what decades of schmoozing by NATO failed to achieve. Convince Sweden and Finland that Russia is the nation state equivalent of the Trenchcoat Mafia.
Russia constantly, daily, talks about establishing a multipolar globe with Russia the mighty pole of a reconquered Eurasia, where the USSR disbandment was a traitorous, calamitous mistake. Or possibly a clerical error.
Putin, Dugin and Zhirinovsky were talking about erasing that mistake as far back as the mid 90s and they’re still talking about it now.
That ethnonationalist, nostalgic obsession is the only constant narrative element in Putin’s Russia. Everything else comes and goes according to how expedient it happens to be.
Even if there is truth to biolabs and NATO expansion, they are simply aggravating factors. It believes totalitarian rule by proxies reporting to the Kremlin (like Chechnya and Belarus) is the natural order and the democracies formed after dismantling USSR are a violation of that natural order.

Putin did not wake up Feb. 24, he had 170,000 troops surrounding eastern Ukraine for months doing “practice exercises”, yah, right! Those of us who were actually paying attention did some research an discovered that a lot of Ukraines gas, oil and other resources were concentrated in the very areas that Putin is now struggling to hold on to.
Some of us were even paying attention back when Bolton (i think it was him) wanted to move the Office on Pandemics out of the White House, I think to the umbrella security office. The US had been cooperating and supplying funds to over 40 countries to deal with pandemic issues. I imagine Ukraine was one of them. We had recently dropped several of these countries from the money pipeline. I think China may have been one of them. All this was before the Covid pandemic. At any rate a more fruitful line of research than wild conspiracy theories about most recent activities.
Not only the biolabs, let’s not forget the Deep State ran two coups in Ukraine overthrowing two democratically elected governments - and that they made Ukraine essentially a client state of the US lavishing it with all kinds of financial aid - and that the governments they set up embarked on an ultra nationalist anti Russia crusade that saw them incorporate actual Nazis into their military and try to ban the Russian language - and that they attacked Luhansk and Donbas when these two regions filled with Russian speaking ethnic Russians decided that they’d had enough and demanded autonomy....attacks which killed 14,000 people over 8 years.
Ask yourself this, imagine instead of Ukraine and Russia it were Mexico and the US. Imagine it were China pulling Mexico’s strings. Would we tolerate it?
Anybody who is at all honest knows damn well we would not tolerate that either. We too would send troops into Mexico.
So why did the Deep State globalist warmongers expect a reaction that was any different from Russia? They caused this and they did so for no good reason.

Now that everyone is thoroughly sick of their crazy “clot shot” nonsense (snake venom, tiny razor blades, itty bitty mechanical octopuses, magnetic nanobots, wiggly parasites, etc. in the vaccines) they’re all het up about these alleged “biolabs” labs in Ukraine they claim are actually bioweapons labs. Of course they were standard surveillance labs like nearly every country has for monitoring emerging diseases. We assist lots developing countries with these types of labs. But the Q crowd loves conspiracies and scary sensationalism, so ...
We have high gas prices and inflation because of the Biden administration’s nutty policies that were put in place before the war in Ukraine started, made worse by the sanctions placed on Russia that affected global gas prices and other prices, too.
Anyway, the Q crowd has their own Special Q Thread here on FR, their snowflake “safe space” where no one is allowed to challenge their insanity. In exchange they were supposed to keep their nutty Q conspiracy theories on that thread and leave the rest of us alone. Obviously, they don’t.

She inadvertently gave the Q crowd encouragement with her ominous statements about Russians getting their hands on dangerous materials in captured Ukrainian research labs. She was just continuing to beat her “horrors! — the evil Russians will likely use chemical and biological weapons!” drum. She’s always been all about predicting heinous crimes against humanity committed by those dastardly Russians (or Ghadaffi, or ...). Part of her usual schtik for ginning up support for her escapades with scary scenarios. She played the same game in the Libya fiasco (anyone remember the fake Viagra rape stories?).
Of course it played right into the hands of the Q conspiracy crowd. I doubt the Q followers were even on her radar. She was just doing her usual thing, deploying scare tactics to demonize her chosen “enemy” of the day. Which is not to say the Russians haven’t done horrible things in Ukraine. They have. It’s a nasty, nasty war. And it was predictable that it would be nasty. The Ukrainians don’t exactly have clean hands, either. But Vickie and her pal Hillary have been slobbering over getting this war for years and years. Now she’s got it.

Whenever a small war, just about anywhere on the planet breaks out, the US, NATO countries, and the UN quickly rush in for "peace talks."
Has this happened to date? Is anyone trying to broker a deal or a way out for this war? It seems that there is so much riding on this region economically, yet no one is stressing the urgency of a peaceful solution and end to the war.
But with the inconvenient GeneralZ removed? Is a coup more likely or certain?
