It was closing hell for a terrible day in markets as investors struggle to process the dreadful and seemingly endless inflation report on Friday.
What happened today? The NASDAQ tanked -4.58% and the 10-year Treasury yield jumped 22.2 basis points. Gulp.
The 22.2 bps jump in the 10-year Treasury yield has led to Agency MBS prices pulling a Titanic and sank.
Somehow, I don’t think that Biden and Congress are going to help the middle class and low-wage workers.

The Dow is going under 30k a lot faster than I thought it would. I was thinking by Labor Day. Hell, it might not make it until July 4th.

The Fed won’t be coming to the rescue this time with inflation running rampant, they have no choice but to let it crash.
I expect the DOW to be in actual, numeric negative territory by November.

It absolutely does. There is no intrinsic value on what other people are willing to pay for it.
And while Bitcoin claims there is a limited number of Bitcoins that will ever be created. There is no end to the number of new algorithms and thus new crypto-coins that will become available.
They also want to end that pesky middle class. The end goal IMO is 10% of Americans are well to do and the other 90% are impoverished. Americans will be a lot easier to control then. 🤬

The DOW can move in a negative direction, but the DOW itself can never be negative. On a % basis I expect NASDAQ and its overpriced tech stocks to go down even more than the DOW.
We need a great reset, not the Claus Schwab WEF Great Reset, but a total meltdown of our system, we are certainly headed that way.
I think if we don’t wake up we are in a position to take a military defeat as well, given the nature of our current military we could take a beating if we engage with China over Taiwan.
If we have an economic meltdown and suffer an ass kicking over Taiwan, we could have a revolution on hour hands, how that plays out who knows.
