The ruling classes of the globe are continuing to warn that the power grids all across the globe will be stretched thin this coming summer. There will not be electricity worldwide to meet the soaring demand for more energy, which is threatening more than one billion people with rolling blackouts.
Power grids are already being stretched thin by fuel shortages, droughts and heatwaves, commodity disruptions, soaring prices due to the war in Ukraine, and the failed green energy transition where grid operators retired too many fossil fuel generation plants. Combine this all together, and a perfect storm of blackouts threatens much of the Northern Hemisphere, according to a report by ZeroHedge.
This power crisis, which is going to be affecting much of the world’s top economies, could be less than a month away when summer begins on June 21. Regions that concerned Bloomberg are Asia, Europe, and the US, where there’s not enough power to go around when cooling demand is set to surge as households crank up their air conditions to escape the sweltering heat.

This is all a planned event. Those excuses are bullsheet.
Blackouts necessary
Thank you Generac. (fueled by propane from my giant submarine tank.
Very good post, until this total, lame-brained NONSENSE.
Everything we're going through now is self-inflicted. There's plenty of room for more people, we're just DUMB.
Shouldn’t be a problem.
My local Tractor Supply fills propane tanks in the parking lot off a large (several hundred gallon) tank.
Thinking of doing something similar. Just a matter of installing the right hardware.
Yes, my hardware store does that, too.
I’m thinking a direct hookup to the tank is less hardware / more straightforward. But I’ll discuss that with the propane people.
Well put!
Let’s get back to natural gas, oil, etc. Heck, the Chinese never stopped using these, so they’re not gonna have a problem. Why are we self-destructing.
Jo Jo and Doctor Jilly will be down in the cool basement of the White House.
Imagine how much worse it would be if the 283M+ number of vehicles on the roadways were EV’s.
There will be multiple governments that fail this year. I agree with that.
This fall will be interesting.
I’m in CA; we bought a generator a few years ago, as blackouts have become normalized and more common. PG and E shuts off the power when it’s windy all the time now so the lines won’t fall over and light fires. We also don’t buy and store as much expensive meat in the freezer anymore. Too risky these days to do that with all the blackouts.
I live in an area with mild weather but this summer looks to be heartbreaking and brutal for many. I hope all the old people figure out how to light a candle and get into a cold bathtub. So they can survive it.
A little known or understood point about EV’s. The electrical grid in much of America is NOT equipped to handle the surge in demand if more households are charging EV’s. Just like old houses are not really set up for all the “modern” appliances we now operate the same is true for the electrical grid.
There is simply not enough grid capacity in many areas just as many houses will not be up to the tasks either without expensive upgrades.
It will be a boom for electricians!
I recently had an estimate for my moms’ 1958, 3 bed house for a full 100 amp panel upgrade with GFI and grounded 3 prong outlets.
$50,000 😵
Yep, my elderly mother is “rural PG&E” (well water)...no power = no water. She has a generator (future new purchases of generators & gas lawn equipment banned by CA BTW): https://fee.org/articles/why-california-s-move-to-ban-gas-powered-generators-and-lawn-equipment-could-leave-californians-in-the-dark/
But it is a pull-start generator (I have been making a 3 hour run up there when PG&E pulls the plug due to fire conditions)...I may have to buy her an electric start model before they are banned.
BTW here is the link to the “NERC” reliability report:
https://www.nerc.com/pa/RAPA/ra/Reliability%20Assessments%20DL/NERC_SRA_2022.pdf
I recently completed a move hundreds of miles away from DC. Altitude is my ac this summer and have stacks of wood to burn next winter.
Who is John Galt?
“There will be multiple governments that fail this year. I agree with that.”
Hopefully ours (US) will be one of them. Then we can reestablish it with what the Framers laid out in the beginning.
