Turncoat Mike Pence Building Presidential Campaign with a Group of RINOs and NeverTrumpers
The Gateway Pundit ^ | May 24, 2022 | Joe Hoft

Posted on 05/24/2022 9:05:02 AM PDT by Macho MAGA Man

Disgraced Former VP Mike Pence is building a team of RINOs and NeverTrumpers in an effort to run for President in 2024. After stabbing America and President Trump in the back on Jan 6, President Trump’s former Vice President Mike Pence is gearing up for 2024

On Jan 6, Pence had the opportunity to save the nation by addressing the two sets of delegates from each of the states where the election was stolen. Instead of getting to the bottom of what happened and demanding more time to investigate or hold a recount, Pence gave the election to Joe Biden. That decision gave us 13 dead soldiers in Afghanistan, forced unconstitutional mandates, the destruction of the US economy, policies that only help China, and war around the world.

Pence is working on what many believe to be a run for President. He must be counting on stolen votes because no Trump supporter, the largest political base in US history, will vote for him.

Pence reportedly is the leader of a new political group with predictable associates.

...... Snip......

Pence’s entity, Advancing American Freedom, includes the following NeverTrumpers and people who have come out as unfriendlies toward the President: Kelly Ann Conway, who is releasing a book blaming Jared Kushner for the 2020 Election loss (ignoring that it was stolen), Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, Betsy DeVos, Callista Gingrich and husband Newt Gingrich.

The only way Pence will win the GOP nomination is if the election is stolen. Maybe he knows something we don’t?

Me either. At one time I held out hope for Pence. But clearly, he has gone to the dark side.

Duh... of course the second set of delegates is not going to be approved by the same people that sent the ‘official’ set of delegates.

Pence would probably have a hard time getting elected President if he ran unopposed. I'm sure he knows this better than anyone else.

Mounting half-assed campaigns for public office is what people do to generate income when they're unelectable but also too young to retire.

Much as I dislike Pence this program of blaming him for “not stopping the steal” is pure cloudkookooland territory. Along with “release the Kraken” and “Trump will be reinstated via a military coup” and other unhinged nonsense. The VP has no authority to reject electoral votes. Constitutionally he has no authority at all.

They’ll get the 2% vote from the Lincoln Project crowd.

Actually, this is just a big grift to pick the pockets of the GOPe supporters with NO chance of winning.

Um, no. Pence is a political zombie. Pence is just looking for a reasonable cover for his payoff from the Deep State. He will take his “campaign donations” and buy a bigger mansion.

“I think at this point Trump could also decide to pass the torch to DeSantis.”

Which I actually think he might do.

Trump has some “quirks” that don’t play well among the more timid electorate. Personally, I like it; it’s unorthodox politics, which, to me, is a blessing.

But Trump unabashedly loves America, as did Ronald Reagan. If Trump believes America will benefit more by a DeSantis presidency, I think he’ll pass the baton.

Plus, he could make a lot of money doing the globalists business by running, both over the table and under. He wouldn’t have to win the nomination to do so. Just extract enough of Trump’s blood during the campaign, real or perceived. Create some imaginary issues that can be carried over to the real Presidential campaign. Enough for the press to run with.

Pence should have resigned on Jan 5th and thrown the whole election into Constitutional chaos.

If Trump had chosen to enter politics in 1996, he would have done so as a Democrat, almost certainly. But a little peculiarity got in his way. The fluke election of 1992, which levered Bill Clinton into office, was not because he was popular, but because H. Ross Perot siphoned enough votes from George HW Bush to shift the electoral college outcome.

Had Bush-43 finished his second term, then the time would have ripe and propitious for a Trump candidacy, which would have changed the complexion of the Democrats back to the more moderate stance they held before Jimmy Carter came on the scene.

It might have been a more congenial world, but as you know, people do SO much better in adversity than they do in prosperity. If they don’t have adversity in their lives, they would have to invent some. And plenty has already been invented, more on the way.

The world has passed the Mike Pence, Mitt Romney, and Jeb Bush contingent by, and return to control is no longer available to them.
