Is Hillary Clinton really about to get what's coming to her?

Hillary Clinton's former campaign manager, Robby Mook, made news when he told a court on Friday that Hillary personally signed off on sharing debunked allegations linking Donald Trump and the Kremlin-backed Alfa-Bank with the media in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election.

Mook was a witness at the trial of former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, who has been indicted by Justice Department special counsel John Durham on charges that he lied to the bureau's general counsel to hide his connection to the Clinton campaign.

Mook testified that he and others at the Clinton campaign "weren't totally confident" regarding the veracity of the information, but they sent it to reporters anyway a few months before the election, hoping that reporters would follow it up and determine if it was "accurate" or "substantive."

Mook added that he discussed the matter with then-senior adviser Jake Sullivan — now the White House national security adviser — and campaign chairman John Podesta about whether to share the information with a reporter.

Ideally, Sullivan should have been asked to step down until the probe is complete. But morals have no place in the world of the Democrats. Democrat allies and puppets in the media are not going to challenge them on this.

The specifics of Mook's remarks were as follows:

I discussed it with Hillary as well. I don't remember the substance of the conversation, but notionally, the discussion was, hey, we have this and we want to share it with a reporter. I recall it being a member of our press staff. We authorized a staff member to share it with the media.

This statement did cause cheering among Trump supporters and right-leaning media outlets. They probably hope this is the first step toward punishing Hillary for her actions.

I wish she had to bend over and grab her cankles while a gigantic train drove up her fat ass. Unfortunately I don't see that happening. Hopefully she will pay for her many sins when she leaves this life.

IF she were charged it would take years for any verdict to be handed down. Hillary will never suffer any consequences. But her lawyers will make a lot of money.

I’m willing to accept that nothing will be done to Hillary.

If that is the case, I shall always remember the day Robby Mook said loudly and clearly that Hill gave her approval to start the worst witch hunt in American history.

I was ecstatic...There it is for all to see, never to be removed from history...Hillary is a lying SOB.

Thank you, Mr. Mook.

At some point the CIA or NSA is going to administrate a 5ml dose of stroke or heart attack on that spawn of demons. She drags around more dirty laundry than can be tolerated, and American politics tolerates an awful lot of putrid laundry.

“Hillary will eventually give an accounting of her life”.

True enough. Then the Devil will lock the Gates of Hell so she can’t get in and steal his job.

I haven’t checked the news recently; is Robbie Mook still alive, or is just on his way to Fort Marcy Park?

To even begin to imagine Hillary facing court, what first has to happen is a Sussman conviction.

The leftist DC jury that the prosecution objected to and the Obama judge over-ruled is going to acquit him.

Actually she covets money over anything else. Watching her bleed out cash retaining lawyers to keep her out of jail for the next ten years is better than seeing her locked up. Trump and others need to keep up the civil suits that could break her too. Enough is coming out in disclosure in criminal trials to drain her of every last penny.

I’m not exactly a typical “nothing will happen” Freeper but I am wondering what set of laws on the books cover “Political Dirty Tricks”.

A key element of politics has always been telling lies about your opponent and pushing that lie out to the public. We do have a 1st Amendment after all. So the lying (to the public) even massively, as is the case here, is not going to convict anyone.

But funding and managing a campaign of lying that knowingly causes the U.S. Government to foolishly expend taxpayer resources and money should be a crime.

Does anybody know what law or laws would apply?

Has Hillary ever made a direct decision about anything?
The Mook testimony is as far as he knows per the usual word parse.
Bill micro-managing in the background always said she was
the most qualified person ever, not that she makes decisions.
May still be a “super predator” Rodham for all I know.

not sure that planting a false story in the media is a crime....however, why did the investigation continue after Trump won??...Comey..Strkoz..Mueller etc knew the story was false, yet they created a false investigation around it...thats who’s in trouble, and Durhams specialty is nailing crooked FBI agents...man, using law enforcement to take down a duly elected President...whoa.

I’m sorry to be such a downer. I’m used to Clinton associates either falling on their swords or punished for being involved with them. But the Clintons themselves slipping out of the net.

You’re right though that the admission is telling and we Mook to thank. It should be pointed out to anyone who still believes the “Russian collusion” story that it begins and ends with the Clinton campaign and here is the admission.

Jezebel had to be thrown out of an upper palace window and trampled on by chariot horses for Israel to get rid of her. Hillary will die in her bed. What happens after that is God’s decision, not ours.

This is merely a set of warning shots to get the Clinton faction to back away. It is not even really about the Clintons. It is about the network of people who backed the Clintons and put them in power verses the network of people who put Obama and then Biden into the office of the President.

The "Obama faction" currently has control of the Government and they are not willing to share that with their predecessors.

No, Obama is not any kind of evil mastermind, calling shots. He was simply a better-looking and more reliable puppet than Joe Biden has turned out to be. But Obama is termed-out and cannot be used again under the current pretense-of-law.

Biden is falling into dementia faster than expected and cannot put on a good enough act to maintain the appearance of a Republic. This encourages the other predators to advance their own front people, in preparation to seize control.

The Durham prosecutions are a club to keep the other predators at bay until the current faction can bring in a more credible team of actors into the White House.

My guess is that the factions will reach some accommodation, and this will all disappear. I doubt that Hillary Clinton will ever be charged with any crime.
