There was a fine gentleman that used to have spots in the Rush show during commercial breaks back in the day. It was "the other side of the story" Who was he, am not finding anything on the interweb, not claiming to be the best at this.
Thanks to my fellow Freepers and be Blessed!
PS: Had to have a web link to post, so why not go with the best.

BTW...the best one I ever heard was the one about Rod Serling.

Happens to me more and more. The other day, I couldn't think of Jimi Hendrix's name. It came to after a mug of coffee.
Getting old sux.

I looked in in a couple of the videos that were up, one of which involved Napoleon Bonaparte and the decision to sell the Louisiana Territory to the then-young United States. That was an interesting sidebar to history, based entirely on the whim of one man.

Completely agree.
50 years ago Paul Harvey was there when I opened my lunch pail every day.

Rush would sometimes have bo snerdley do a special report from the true black man response to Obama’s racial ramblings.
and yes, paul harvey had the rest of the story.

My best friend in high school and college, (he was a roommate) our senior year in college, 1959~1960 got me hooked on Paul Harvey and his lunch time radio show in the central time zone, with his great news analysis.
Now, in our 80’s, we both felt that Paul’s analysis helped to form/mold us into conservatives. We got our roommate hooked and his future wife. Even our landlord, a prof at our college often joined. He provided pizzas for lunch when he joined us.
Paul Harvey set the standard for many of us re whom to listen to and Limbaugh exceeded it.

Good post. Paul Harvey was one of three radio hosts that taught me to think for myself. Limbaugh and Art Bell were the others.

Exactly. I don't recall all the details but the Paul Harvey piece he did some years ago was quite a thing.
As I recall, he was responsible for essentially saving his unit when supplies were air dropped...something like that. I'll have to revisit the story.
