You can always tell someone who is writing "history" that has no historical education beyond their grade 10 civics class.

For instance, how come you left his map out of your collection? The referendum results by region in 1991 when all of Ukraine voted to become independent:

Even in Crimea a majority voted to leave Russia and join Ukraine.

It is all good stuff. However...

The Democrap American will follow their party into nuclear WWIII and demand they do it.

The Republican American has a visceral reaction to the word ‘Russia’ and will follow the Democraps into nuclear WWIII and demand they do it.

The smart American knows this situation needs resolved without a war and understands the material you have presented and knows the resolution that is needed.

It appears to me that 80% of Americans watch TV propaganda and have decided poor old Russia is beating up on Ukraine and the democraps are right that we should go to nuclear war against Russia.

This means 80% have not read nor understand your materials. Once again, war hides the crimes of the democrap party.

One key element of this war is that few realize the NATO expansion includes nuclear weapons expansion. Just like the Cuban Missile Crisis was brought on by the US placing nuclear missiles in Turkey and was resolved by our removing those missiles from Turkey, so is this. The US and Europe have expanded NATO to double it size since the USSR fell apart. With each expansion comes nuclear weapons and advanced technologies, including new intelligence capabilities.

Yes, boys and girls, for every nation that joins NATO they get the latest super-duper top secret data on Russia. Some of that data we once even restricted from going to the British, but now, every one gets a copy. We literally sell top secret information once held strictly for US use to dozens of nations. Entire network systems have been created since the 1990’s to transmit that classified information to ‘allies’ who pay us. The Military Industrial Complex makes a small fortune on that data.

If you were Russia, what would you think about NATO handing all your neighbors intelligence information about you and nuclear weapons access?

I like what oblomov posted elsewhere:

The Ukraine war is a proxy war between two factions of the left.
The old anti-authoritarian left has been marginalized, and they aren’t one of the warring factions.

It’s between the nationalist neo-Stalinist left and transnational corporatist progressivism.

I saw where Logan questioned the loyalty of Lt. Col Vindman and suggested they both were spies. A very distinct possibility that should be examined in detail.

IMHO this fiasco is about the playground that Ukraine has become. From Money Laundering to sex slavery and any other depravity you can imagine and the ability to keep it that way.

Good stuff. Hey, did you catch Fox & Friends on FoxNews channel this AM - they had a report that the Biden WH claims their social media posts are getting spammed by dozens of 'Russian speaking troublemakers.'

The entire F&F report was spun like - "oh, this is AWFUL!" Not a moment was taken to QUESTION the possibility that the WH itself was doing the spamming alleged by "Russians."

Does anyone in American media exercise any critical thinking and questioning abilities today???

Well done, Sir! And yes, Logan’s short explanation is a keeper. We are being played by the criminals who have been using Ukraine as their money laundry and bribe factory.

First rate piece of work. Few understand the history of Eastern Europe and fewer still, the multiple tsunamis of nightmarish horrors that sloshed over these regions in the twentieth century.

Bloodlands: Europe Between Hitler and Stalin is a unique account of the mass slaughter of hapless civilians in Poland, Belarus, the Baltic States and Ukraine. Most tend to think of WWII atrocities in terms of the Holocaust and perhaps the Katyn Forest massacre. The Holocaust almost pales in comparison to true scale and context of the grotesque crimes against humanity perpetrated by both Hitler and Stalin as their influence seesawed back and forth over Eastern Europe. It is a tale of tragedy and atrocity that beggars the imagination that remains strong in in the minds of those who live there today. We here in modern America can scarcely conceive of the extent of the demonic savagery experienced by the people of these regions. Those horrors loom afresh not only for Eastern Europe, but for us here in America.

A similar exercise could be undertaken with the map of Russia itself. From the core of Grand Duchy of Muscovy, the borders of European Russia alone expanded 16 times between the 17th and 19th centuries, with further later expansion in Central Asia and the Far East during the years of the 'Great Game'.

Ergo?? What is 'right' and 'wrong' about the one nation's expansion and not the other's?
