You can always tell someone who is writing "history" that has no historical education beyond their grade 10 civics class.

For instance, how come you left his map out of your collection? The referendum results by region in 1991 when all of Ukraine voted to become independent:

Even in Crimea a majority voted to leave Russia and join Ukraine.

Actually, we can tell when someone thinks an insult is proof of something and is a mental midget for doing so.

You may want to ask Matt what his college degree is and what one of his focuses in the Navy SEAL teams was.

That was when they actually thought they would be independent and the people would ALL be treated as valued citizens. They never were and Ukraine has had puppet regimes installed to serve the interests of other countries before Ukraine.

Who would not vote to leave the Soviet Union in 1991?

Bogus point.

It still doesn’t make it our business, much less an issue to potentially trade nukes over. I’m sure if US indian tribes were polled in the 1800s, they would have voted to keep the white man out. Popular votes mean nothing if you can’t win your own freedom outright.

Ukraine’s corruption killed them. They didn’t cherish freedom. Their national focus should have been on defense instead of bilking the system. That rings true for the United States today.

If a woman who has lived with a man for say, 30 years now refuses to live with him anymore, for what ever reason (abuse, incompatibility, clash of values, etc. ), is it a moral right for the man to force the woman to continue to live with him and refuse to let her go at gunpoint by invoking their life together for 30 years?

In this analogy, the man is Russia. The woman us Ukraine.

Why be personal

If you believe in your information that much stand on it

Matt Bracken has a degree from university of Virginia and was a SEAL officer and has written a number of books and is fairy well known as a gun rights public advocate and other liberties you’d gain from were you informed

He’s effective enough he’s on the SPLC shit list

You’re out of line like most here who deride those who are skeptical of the war drum

I can vouch for Matt since I know him personally for 20 years and hope to see him next couple months in fact

You I don’t know but I’m lending you courtesy despite being rude

Folks can disagree on this

Your side seems divided into 3s

Progressive culture war engineers who view Putin as the anti Christ in that area due to his public views on their sacred cows like homosexuals and feminists amongst others

Neoconservatives for whom culture war is a bother and obstacle and who embrace nation building and open borders

Conservatives who think we are still fighting the Cold War and Putin is Stalin

I give the last a pass more or less
