I think Pedro Gonzalez, chronicles the whys of Putin’s invasion perfectly. He also points out the perfidy of the Western leadership, including the US. As he stated, Putin is a 19th century (I think 20th century) man living in the 21st century and takes personally promises not kept.
That said, Putin invaded Ukraine, so my heart is with Ukraine and it’s people.
They did not deserve this, but like Mongo, they are simply pawns.
I guess I could be worse places. Like heading east on the same road as a Russian armored column heading west.
