Prayers
Prayers up for a comfortable, and quick recovery for Ritchie.
with you in your plea
HALLELUJAH!
It’s “just” a kidney stone….in the tract on its way.
I have a urology appt for him Monday as follow-up.
I will keep your husband in my prayers. Back in 2010, I had severe pains in my left side between my ribs and my hip, and it turned out to be a perforated bowel. I also had nausea, and vomited my supper. He could also have an intestinal blockage. Not all pain is cut and dry, or by the book. I was experiencing heaviness in my chest, pain in the middle of my back, headache, and elevated blood pressure. They thought it was my heart. It was my gall bladder causing the problem.
Prayers
Thank God!! Glad to hear it's nothing serious. My youngest son had one of those several years ago. He had been taking powdered whey protein for a while, and it was that, that caused the kidney stones. He stopped using it, and has never had another attack.
Thank you!
Hubby is back at his moms house, and going to meet the realtor later today!
So maybe he can get that off his mind. Then try to rest nicely before coming back tomorrow. Hopefully to make it before our sons basketball tournament starts late Sat.
Prayers for your husband’s health and swift healing !
Oh, just saw your update. Curiously, when you described the symptoms in your first post, kidney stone came to mind !
Praise God for His Kindness and Mercy

I had that thought too.
When he called this morning and described, I suggested kidney or spleen. Kidney could be several things, but I worried about spleen because a rupture would be very dangerous.
When I sent out a message to friends the nurse immediately texted back I should call 911 for a heart attack!
Yes, Praise Jesus! He is good to us.
I had a relative diagnosed with kidney stones that had cramps in the lower back area and the nausea, it’s why it came to mind. Fortunately something that can be treated. A cousin of mine had hers “zapped” to make them easier to pass.
Thanks for the update. I’m glad to hear he will be able to see the realtor after all. I’ve never owned a home. Raised two sons alone in apartments as they grew up, and eventually left. One lives two hours away. The other lives in Indiana. At 74, I’m glad I don’t own a home, so my sons won’t be burdened with getting rid of it after I’m gone. It’s another reason why I don’t have cats anymore either, because I wouldn’t want them to have to take on the expense of taking care of a cat after I die. They both already have pets that cost them an arm and a leg.
Father God,
We lift up Richie for Your care and mercy, Lord.
Steady him his dear wife and his medical team as they move through this challenge with Your help.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen!
My first thought.
Praying they find out what’s wrong and are able to help him. Please update us when you can.
Thanks….#64!
(Really wish FR was more flexible…threads like this beg for easy editing.)
I prayed for Richie.
