I’ve decided to join the People’s Convoy leaving from Barstow, CA and proceeding to Washington DC. There are other convoys, taking different routes, but that one runs, at one point, within a few miles of my house and I’ll be able to stop in and recharge the batteries, figuratively and literally. The question is why, at my age, with the struggles already presented, would I take on this mission?
First, I’m a writer and while that doesn’t pay for much, it does sustain me at times. Second, I’ve been working to right the ship of state since 1987 when it started taking on water. It took on a lot more with the passage of the Patriot Act in 2001. Since 2008 and the betrayal of George W. Bush at the moment when the banking industry had run the thing aground, I knew it would be a lifelong struggle to regain any semblance of freedom, physical or financial. Since 2020, the full-throated push of communism has literally been an attempt to scuttle the ship of state.
Today, we face the most existential threat, not just in Canada or America, but the whole of the free world. If freedom is to survive it will be through massive human capital being expended on these efforts to reveal the corruption and betrayal of our politicians, here and abroad.
As I mentioned in a previous post, Imprisonment in Place, we are engaged in a world war. The enemy being the globalist caste of the World Economic Forum, that has enlisted like-minded sociopaths holding political positions of vital importance in the free world. These traitors have turned the police and the military on its own people like all other despotic dictators. They used the cover of a medial emergency to activate their police-state tactics during the pandemic and when there wasn’t wholesale riots and rebellion, they were convinced they had won.
This convoy and others are a last-ditch attempt to reach out to the American people, to ask for their overwhelming support for freedom and justice. There must be both. This isn’t just about Biden, who is failing spectacularly on his own, it’s about the others who’ve wormed their ways into positions of power at the state and local level. Governors and mayors, city councilmen and county commissioners have revealed themselves as minor despots in the overarching power structure. They are the ones who’ve imposed the worst sanctions against freedom, who have sent the police out to arrest hairdressers and gym owners and used the tools of civil society as weapons of terrorism. It’s not just Merrick Garland and the FBI that have abused their power and violated their oaths, squandered their integrity and principle to indulge their fantasies of power, but they’ve revealed themselves in the process. The people know who they are. They are, by all rational definition, state-sponsored terrorists.
They’ve unleashed BLM and Antifa against the citizens of several cities to terrify the people to gain a political advantage. This is straight-up communist/fascist tactics that have worked in the past, but fascists and communists are unimaginative and for those who observe history it's ridiculously blatant. It is, however, further proof of their ultimate goal: total despotic control.
They corrupted the 2020 election, flooding election officials with fraudulent ballots, then relied on captured Secretaries of State and election officials in solidly partisan districts to aid that fraud. To date, very few government officials have lived up to their oaths, reviewed the evidence and sought criminal prosecutions. Again, getting rid of Trump was the excuse, but the purpose was to demoralize the opposition voter. They knew they cheated and they wanted Republican voters to know they cheated, that’s necessary for the demoralization to take effect. That and it gives them a sociopathic thrill to watch their enemies squirm under the egregious injustice of it.
They’ve demanded that everyone in the nation take part in medical experimentation, despite the relatively minor effects of Covid, the availability of therapeutics and cheap remedies and the alarming dangerousness of the “vaccine” itself. Not only is the injection not a vaccine, it is not “safe and effective” as their propaganda states. So, to refuse to take an injection that is not a vaccine, does not prevent exposure or transmission and might give one AIDS, is, in their twisted sociopathic reasoning, justifiable to cost one their livelihoods, their bank accounts and their participation in society.
These actions cannot go unchallenged and the people who have implemented them cannot go unpunished. The convoy will not solve all of these problems, but it establishes a foundation of resistance. That resistance will be met with all of the tools available to a tyrant that are not available to a democratic system that honors freedom and the right to protest. The convoy will expose that and I intend to broadcast it to the world.
I want to tell the stories of the people involved, the challenges faced and the obstacles overcome. I recognize that the tactics used on the January 6th protesters will be employed against the convoy. I recognize that the police and the military might be used to enforce the will of tyrants against the convoy. Fear, even rational, self-preservational fear, is no reason to back down from the duty to expose the excesses and brutality of a tyrannical system. It’s against that very backdrop that the value of freedom is best defined.

A lot of positions people take are premised on “the relatively minor effects of Covid”.
How minor you think COVID is depends on your answer to “relative to what?”
When I talk about COVID policy, I often say, “If this was Ebola (or smallpox), we wouldn’t be having this discussion”. It’s true COVID is not an extinction-level event. It’s not Ebola. It’s not smallpox.
But it is bad, worse than seasonal influenza, and it’s not even close. If our politics was not as bad as it is, and the authorities had not performed so badly, this would still be a major event and would have influenced people’s behavior in ways flu or other seasonal illnesses never did.

I've been practicing Infectious Diseases medicine for 41 years. That's 42 "flu seasons".
In peak flu season, the average number of patients in my practice with hypoxemic respiratory failure requiring a ventilator on any given day is 0-1. For the three weeks before, during, and after 1/15/22, those numbers were 12, 19, and 14.
Believe what you want, 19 ventilated and contagious patients are enough to leave a memory on staff for years.

What I think is this:
“Pandemic planning” has been going on for many years, kind of under the radar, at least as far as the public is concerned. I’ve attended at least ten pandemic planning sessions, work groups, and served on one DOD planning panel since, oh, 1997 or so.
When this happened, the responsible people know right away that if the full story were ever divulged they would, at a minimum, be disgraced if not worse.
They activated an “off the shelf” pandemic plan that was designed to deal with a mutated Influenza A strain, Public masking has always been a component of any influenza pandemic plan.
At first, goal one was to USE the pandemic to get rid of President Trump. Read the utterances of all the COVID twitterati if you are not convinced.
However, quickly, there was a shift to getting rid of COVID by any means necessary, no matter the cost. The reason for the confusion, the shifting sands, the changes in “guidance” week to week, month to month, is that there has never been a coronavirus plan as well developed as various flu plans, it had to be made up as they went along.
Why the rush? Why the panic?
Because the longer it went on, the more likely the case for US-funded and designed gain-of-function research as the proximate cause would become accepted. This had the potential to cause a regime crisis (American Chernobyl) and eventually bring the whole corrupt house down.
This is why Biden requires a fence around the Capitol to go there to speak.
It’s not that I don’t believe that Klaus Schwab, George Soros, the Gates Foundation would not do what they are accused of. I just believe that panic over being exposed by the US officials actually responsible for this is a better and more parsimonious explanation for two years of chaos and constant changes in “the plan”.
COVID critial illness is instantly recognizable to any competent intensivist or ID specialist. It doesn't resemble any other disease, with its unique physiology of alveolar damage and small-vessel clotting.
So, yes, I am 100% convinced that all COVID-diagnosed ICU patients on ventilators in January 2022 in New Hampshire had COVID and nothing else.
In my mind, no question about it.
1. The people who funded the gain of function research are the heros. The Chinese who shut down internal travel, allowed international travel and hindered the investigations into the causes are not to be discussed online or you will get banned. The WHO has covered for the Chinese. AND those who don't want their businesses destroyed are the bad guys.
2. The government response has been worse than the problem. The shutdowns and controls may bring us closer to a communist "utopia", but it does not seem to affect the COVID spread. If people think COVID is bad, wait until they see what communism looks like.
