In addition, if I’m not mistaken, Latinos are a larger percent of the population than blacks....
This was a great answer to a gotcha question.
Blacks must be portrayed as morally superior, tolerant and enlightened- the funny, gay minstrel works too. White men are repugnant and evil - bent on destroying the planet. White women are great if they’re lesbians or the wives of black men, otherwise they’re catty and stupid Karens

Not a fan of McConnell on any day, but a genius comeback would have been something along the lines of....
I’m a US Senator and the Republican Senate Leader. Some would say that I’ve been here too long. Others maybe not. However, at NO point in my day, does any member of my staff inform me of how I’m going to vote. Again, NO STAFFER informs me of what to think, decide or say. At times, I do ask them to help me source information and at times I might ask some of them their opinions on things, given that I’m an old man and I want the perspective of the 20-somethings. But, and let me emphasize, NOT A SINGLE PERSON on my staff informs me of what to decide. You may have someone telling you what to do and doing your thinking for you, I do not.

I've seen some of those BOOM-CHAKA-LAKA-LAKA pieces. Hilariously sickening; I'd be offended, too.
Also though, I see them camping, flyfishing, working on and driving antique cars, going to work, investing in stocks, actually shopping and paying for stuff, golfing, woodworking -- all kinds of things you seldom see in real life. So I guess it is a chance for us to see how the other half doesn't live.
Watching pharmaceutical commercials, one would think that doctors, dentists, and veterinarians are only black.
EVERY national commercial has blacks in them. A rare local commercial may not.
