No, to use “I” in this context is absolutely WRONG! “I” is a subjective pronoun and is not the object of the “missing.” “You” is the subject of the sentence, “missing” is the verb (actually “do miss”) and the pronoun receiving the “missing” should be “me.”

However, this goes to show that Pence cannot choose good staff. He would then go on to make similar unforced errors as President. But not only that, Pence is a JUDAS TURNCOAT. No, I do NOT miss him. He should be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail. Hang the bustard!

That being said, once you get into the era of written and RECORDED English, that argument loses a lot of validity. Now using such deliberate bad grammar becomes a choice like 'Black English' where it is a denigration to the subculture. Elsewhere it is just careless and lazy!

In today's world, books like this (above) and style books like Strunk are almost attacked like the enemy. After all, if 2+2=4 is racist, so must any restrictions on language!

I can NOT get these wastes of oxygen to take me off their mailing lists.

I donated to Boebert. BAM, a dozen emails a day jamming my junk mail box. Unsubscribed dozens of times, they still keep coming.

I’ve even taken to - any time they send out a “postage included return envelope” - stuffing that envelope with about 1/4-3/8” of other junk mail and returning it with the note “take me off your mailing list.”

Doesn’t work, only makes them more aggressive.

At least planned parenthood finally responded to my return envelope notes “please remove me from your mailing lists you soulless ghouls. Rot in hell.”

But the GOP? Especially the progressives in RINO drag like McCarthy.

When Pence was on the White House COVID Response team, I would always click away to something more important. He had this habit of taking 10 minutes to say what you or I could say in 2 minutes. Worthless.
