Like all of us my email is flooded. So flooded that I spend hours TRYING to unsubscribe to the ones I do not support. I support my state races, DJT and selected others!
I just do not WANT TO BELIEVE this donation request!
Do you miss I?
Barf!

I DO miss President Trump.
That said, however, I would very much like to go ON MISSING Pence.

I never liked Pence, I knew he was part of the Boehner, Ryan, Cantor, McCarthy GOP House leadership.

That displays one of Mike’s problems as a politician;
he has always seemed too meek, prim and inhibited.
To use “I” in that context vs using “Me” sounds overly formal and tentative.

This is what I hate about FR. Mike Pence was a good and loyal soldier for Trump. He was asked to do something that he felt he could not do. His four years of absolute loyalty should be recognized. I was at government meetings with him and he was always giving all the credit to Trump. Truly not fair. Would I support him? No. But it’s not because of what happened in January.

If you listen, way more than half of TV talking heads make the same mistake - and frequently. Bunch of semi-literate English majors who never learned basic grammar.

And it is wrong! Should be me when an object. Idiots.

"Do you miss President Trump and I?"I do miss DJT; I don't miss you, you traitor.
To: Hildy
He was asked to do something that he felt he could not do. At the very least he could have said "I will not be a part of this." and walked out.
He cooperated with the Democrats stealing the election, and for that I shall never forgive him. He's just like those 13 that helped them pass this latest monstrosity of spending bill.

To me, as a pedantic grammarian, it doesn’t sound formal. It sounds like nails on a chalkboard. I = subject. Me = object. “Do you miss I?” Ugh.
Barry Obama used to regularly make this same mistake. “It’s a great gift to Michelle and I” blah blah blah.

“Do you miss President Trump and I?”
No....Just the mean tweeter, not you.

This is what I hate about FR. Mike Pence was a good and loyal soldier for Trump. And Benedict Arnold was a good and loyal soldier to Washington - until personal ambition nullified that loyalty.
