Interesting post on a Sunday night.
Jen Psaki @PressSec
United States government official For anyone who needs to hear it. @VP is not only a vital partner to @POTUS but a bold leader who has taken on key, important challenges facing the country—from voting rights to addressing root causes of migration to expanding broadband.
Couple this with a CNN story this weekend:
Suspicion has sprouted out of the bitterness. Last month, White House aides leapt to the defense of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who was being hammered with outrage by Fox News host Tucker Carlson and likeminded online pundits for taking paternity leave after the adoption of his twins in September. Harris loyalists tell CNN they see in that yet another example of an unfair standard at play, wondering why she didn't get similar cover any of the times she's been attacked by the right. "It's hard to miss the specific energy that the White House brings to defend a White man, knowing that Kamala Harris has spent almost a year taking a lot of the hits that the West Wing didn't want to take themselves," said a former Harris aide, reflecting conversations last month among several former aides and current allies.
Instead of an obvious win for Kamala or Pete, the trillion dollar piggie bank is being handed off to an outsider.
A split within the administration?
Nothing like having to do damage control late on a Sunday night.
Speaking of split, didn’t Peppermint Patty say a while ago, that she would be leaving soon?
CNN reported on a “shade war” b/t FJB and VP. CNN called it exclusive.
However, Jack Posobiec had reported on this weeks ago, possibly months.
The whitehouse had to respond to the CNN report but ignored Poso’s reporting.
We could replace the current administration with the Keystone Cops and be better off.
Biden’s handlers see Willie Brown’s former girlfriend as a lightweight. They used her to turn out voters of color for Biden. Mission’s accomplished. So Kamala Harris has no leverage remaining.
Doesn’t matter either way.The plan at Rat Party Headquarters is to keep The Big Guy in office until the day when Heels Up can, under the Constitution, serve 10 years (minus 1 day) as President.
Don’t count on it. If there’s one thing the dems know how to do it’s stick together (“a house divided cannot stand” – – Matthew 12:25)
No way will Kamala pull a Pence on Biden!
According to Biden, we have supply chain problem. “The supply chain means stuff is moving”
So I guess we have transportation problem. Yet transportation secretary is taking a long break!
He should either work 20 hours a day or resign!
I think Jen said she would be leaving after the Mid Term Elections a year from now. Hopefully, my memory is wrong as usual.
More likely that the shadowy cabal which orchestrated the 2020 election steal has decided it is time for Pedo Joe to shuffle into retirement, and what few powerful friends he has left in DC are pushing back.
If a Vice President can’t (or doesn’t) finish their term, the President gets to select their replacement. No vote required. He can pick anyone. Then if the President dies (or resigns), the new Vice President becomes President. It is unlikely Joe will finish four years. Chances are they will get rid of Kamala before he quits/dies. Anyones guess on who replaces her.
I already know.
2022 - Republicans sweep House with 70 seats
Biden “retires” after “medical incident.”
Kamala immediately appoints Gavin Newsom as VP
Gavin Newsom runs as DNC candidate in 2024
Thanks. I guess I was just hoping it would be "soon". Not that the next one will be any better.
Look, does she still make her salary? Does she still have all the perks?
Then if she takes some heat from the press, all of which evaporates in 48 hours when they move onto the next thing, honestly, my heart really bleeds for the poor woman. WGAF?
We have a government by hoax. Apparently she hasn’t demonstrated sufficient gravitas to bring off whatever role might be assigned to her. There are things to be concerned about. Her fate isn’t one of them.
Biden will make it to January 20, 2025 even if they have to use a body double.
So sad ...sooo sorry.....not.
I can easily envision a scenario, with the GOP in control of one house, where such a vacancy is never filled. It’s happened before in U.S. history — I think most recently in the LBJ administration.
>When a VP is appointed due to a vacancy, the new VP must be confirmed by both Houses of Congress.
I wouldn’t worry, those GOP traitors will elect him in quicker than the infrastructure bill
New Vice President must be approved by both the Senate and the House.
Ha...and if he survives the Coronavirus booster shots.
Not do to well on the first jab.
