When Brian shows up it will be at a press conference where it will be announced Brian is running for state AG, Soros will have given him $500k, and he’ll be leading in the polls by 83/20.

"Maybe he is innocent."

yeah, because everybody goes off with their loved one in their van and then comes home again without that loved one and won't tell anybody what happened, not even the poor girl's parents....

it is not uncommon here on FR and I've been here actually over 2 decades for some freepers to always always deride the victim.....especially if its a girl/woman victim....

“Apples and oranges. Richard Jewell wasn’t hiding.”

You don’t think that the lawyer that has been engaged doesn’t know where this character is?

They’re not saying anything? To whom? The press?

What’s the advice when they when dealing with LE? The common wisdom is to not say anything or risk incrimination, until have an attorney is present. Right?

Maybe because people are quick to judge rather than find out the truth of what happened before coming to a conclusion?

I will let this play out. Innocent until proven guilty. Then fry the bastard! Of course if guilty.

Man if all neighbors watched their neighbors like this woman did we wouldn’t have half the break-ins. She reminds me of that neighbor on Bewitched. Can see her husband sitting at the table reading a newspaper and her little fingers splitting the slats of the blinds to peer through to see the neighbor’s house and what they are doing.

“1. If my son came to me and told me that he had done something terrible, I would think about his future.

Prison for life or execution. I would have a hard time turning him in.”
________________________________________________

I’m what some might call ‘harsh,’ in that I’d have no problem turning either of my sons into the police for killing someone.

Now, if it were self-defense, I could definitely see hiring a damn good lawyer.

If, however, the situation were like this one.... well, neither of my sons would even want to cross over my doorstop. They both know my views.....

It’s not about what would ‘his’ future be like, at all.

It’s all about the LACK of ‘her’ future....

Like I said, I’m considered a bit ‘harsh.’

Everybody knows from TV shows that the cops won’t do anything to investigate a missing person until 48 hours pass. ;-)

My views, exactly.

My boys were taught from an early age there are ways to live a life well and there are ways lives can be ruined by a person’s own actions/in-action.

Nope. The family lawyer released a statement that they contacted the FBI to report Brian is missing. This case is nothing like Richard Jewell.

I’m not saying he’s innocent.

The Press has a nasty habit sticking their nose into a process, making lots of noise, crapping on anybody, and then departing in pursuit of the next scoop. It’s as if the media has acute ADHD.

Jewell is STILL an anathema. Without getting over dramatic, the actual bomber is rarely mentioned and Richard Jewell’s name cannot be uttered.

It’s messed up and arbitrary to the investigative process. With absolutely no accountability.

Well that settles it. “Karen” has an opinion. I have zero idea of guilt or innocence but people always think they know beyond a shadow of doubt.

Due process, not the press process.

Is that clear enough?

Richard Jewell has nothing to do with this case except that the Press hijacked due process and Richard Jewell really got screwed out of the rest of his life. That’s the only reason I brought Richard Jewell up.

So here’s another case of the press messing with the process. I don’t care if he’s innocent or guilty, there is a process. If he’s guilty and the process is followed he goes to court, there is no mistrial and they hammer the guilty in a court of law if he is guilty.

That IS the process.

I get what your saying. It would be torture to turn in one of my four kids. But would I? I’d like to think so. And then support him or her throughout the process. Even an evil act like murder, id still love them.

Think long and hard before turning one of your kids into the corrupt institution we call the “Justice System”. At the very least hire them the good attorney to negotiate their surrender to the system.

Remember get all the justice you can afford in America.

“Prison for life or execution.”

In this country? Am thinking he’d be out in two years.

I would agree....just show up in Portland or Seattle. Parents might be able slip him a thousand here and there without the cops getting wise. Beard, sunglasses and a ballcap....you could stay hid for rest of your life.
