Charlene Guthrie, who lives across the street from Brian Laundrie's Florida home on Tuesday reacted to news of Gabby Petito's preliminary autopsy report.

The FBI on Tuesday afternoon confirmed that the remains investigators discovered on Sunday in the Teton-Bridger National Forest in Wyoming belonged to the missing 22-year-old woman, and that she had died of homicide.

"I’m really upset now because … [the Laundries] should have absolutely come forward now," Guthrie told Fox News Digital. "I mean, I just … can't believe they didn’t do something. I’m really angry now that they … let this go. And that everything was so natural and they remained so normal through the whole thing

All's well at the Christopher Laundrie residence.

“He mowed the lawn. Him and his mother went for a bicycle ride around the block,” Guthrie said. “I mean, everything was just normal life once he came back. And I just can’t get over the fact that they — it seemed like nothing bothered him. How can you do that?”

We need Memes of Brain walking everywhere, Disneyland, Old Faithful, Washington Monument, Mount Rushmore, Niagara Falls, everywhere.

The parents are accessories. They helped him get away.

My husband and I were talking about this. I am of two minds.

1. If my son came to me and told me that he had done something terrible, I would think about his future.

Prison for life or execution. I would have a hard time turning him in.

2. OTOH, he probably committed a heinous crime and they should have reported him before Friday (they apparently learned on Tuesday).

Did he even go to Florida? His sister didn’t see him. Odd.

How bout a pic of him on top of the World Trade Towers with an airliner headed in his direction?

That the parents have been silent, not calling on their son to turn himself in, suggests they know and likely knew all along that he killed her, that they likely have helped him flee. They should be arrested and charged as accomplices, jailed until they disclose where he is at and is arrested.

I am sorry but I really think he knows what happened and perhaps killed her.

Why else would he be on the lam?

We have had the same discussion and have made absolutely clear to our kids that we would immediately turn them in if they didn’t do so themselves. Shame on anyone opted to become accomplices to their kid’s criminal behavior. I say any parent that does should be charged, convicted, and jailed as accomplices. No exceptions.

100% agree. They waited three days to call the police.

Accessories after the fact. Perhaps harboring a fugitive.

I completely agree. Was talking with my husband and I told him that I got chills up and down my spine when I heard her age.

Just two months older than my daughter.

That poor girl.

Yep. Why did he never talk to her parents, when he came back with her van, but without her? Why weren’t the cops following him? Does he know Crooked Hillary?

Very good questions.

An innocent man would have called or contact her parents and said, “I can’t find her!”

And they would have moved Heaven and Earth to find her.

_______________

And yes. He has got to be in cahoots with Hillary’s death squad. /s

Without regard to the outcome of this homicide, I would expect the Laundries will be thinking about moving to some other neighborhood or even state. Even if all the circumstantial evidence turns out to be completely wrong, their neighbors won’t ever feel the same about this family again.
