What is going on here?
I support the right of anyone to get vaccinated or not. I support free speech and free thought. However...
Though I was not looking, in less than one day I have seen THREE posts by non-noob Freepers who are fully supporting Orwellian Australian tactics, and/or gleefully wishing death on those Freepers who have chosen to wait on the vaccine or chosen therapeutics, etc.
If this was twitter, I would not be so distressed and surprised. But this is Free Republic where the main page Front center headline is:

Do these posts really represent Free republic? God, Family, Country?
Are there no lines that Freepers should not cross??
At the very least, these people should be called out.

As compared to those here that post the virus contains GO which is sensitive to 5G radiation and the governments will bombard everyone with 5G radiation beamed from satellites.

Agreed. I support vaccines, and think not getting the jab is as dumb as kissing a lamppost in an Iowa winter, but I also believe in freedom.
It is not up to the state to decide what medical treatments a person takes.

She was saying that we eliminated the small pox virus through vaccines, etc.
I asked the lady if she knew the difference between the small pox virus and a corona virus.
Blank empty look came over her face.
So I educated her. The Small Pox virus is a human virus-it did not mutate. And this virus is a mutating virus of the sort the cold/flu virus is. It will most likely never be nailed down, EVER.
I threw down right in the doctors office. The lobby was real quiet in there.

They did not respond...which might be part of why I felt compelled to put this out there.
But more importantly, I suspect they are not alone...and I wanted to direct to a broader topic.
If people don’t step back and look at the bigger picture of chaos and dissention/ tyranny control, we as a country are only hurting ourselves.

Have you ever changed anyone’s mind or had your mind changed on one of these forums? People get too invested in their position, and are literally unable to stop and adjust.

I know a few people who work for the feds, good honest people, military veterans with multi-decade military careers, who are facing serious crises of conscious over this. Trying to do the right thing and risking their livelihoods.
