CBS News just proved how far down the whirlpool of nonsense it’s willing to go. The outlet actually blamed climate change for Afghanistan’s terrorism outbreak following President Joe Biden’s massive foreign policy failure.
CBS News climate and energy reporter Cara Korte wrote an absurd story headlined: “How climate change helped strengthen the Taliban.” She decried that “Rural Afghanistan has been rocked by climate change,” before making the wild connection that “the Taliban — likely without knowing climate change was the cause — has taken advantage of that pain.” But CBS News was singing a different tune 6 years ago when it blamed “opium profits” — not climate change — for strengthening the Taliban in a 2015 story headlined: “Taliban set to double opium profits this year?” CBS News said in 2015 that the Taliban derived 40 percent of its funding from the illicit opium trade, which “fuel[ed] their insurgency.” Climate change wasn’t even mentioned in the 2015 story. Talk about a whopping narrative shift.

CBS also as a climate specialist and meteorologist who was explaining that the French hurricane Henri was problematic because of climate change and went on to expound on climate change and gave no reports on the hurricane itself - totally worthless reporters.
Remember when the MSM used to add the words “without evidence” to every story reporting something President Trump said?

Weather Channel reporter was talking about approach of Henri in full panic mode saying how the upper atmosphere throughout the world is so radically altered now that we can’t make accurate predictions He didn’t say the words climate change but that is what I believe he was referring to. And of course the on air panel nodded their heads in solemn agreement.
They just make things up.

That's like asking a person who's tripping on too much acid to draw a picture of what they're hallucinating -- not only can't they get their sh!t together long enough to draw what they see, but what they see changes from minute to minute. Distortion, shifting images, forgetfulness, wild/wacky ideas, the whole gamut.
Seriously. Viewing the world through the liberal/democrat/media lens is very much like heavy tripping.
