Freeper terart has passed into God's loving hands.
Please pray for the repose of her soul, and the comfort of her family.
Prayers and comfort to terart’s family and friends. I pray that her afflicted family members make a full recovery.
RIP.
So thankful to hear you’re feeling better!
Praying for both of you to have a full and speedy recovery. Did you have any difficulty scheduling your monoclonal antibody therapy? People in different areas seem to have some different experiences.
Prayers for those who love dear terart.
RIP Good FReeper/FRiend.
🙏🏻
Exactly
Perhaps asking anonymous people online for medical advice isn’t the smart thing to do
Prayers to her family, friends, and others who were blessed by her life. May she rest in peace.
They didn't.
Thankfully our son is a respiratory therapist at a hospital three hours away, and they got us right in. We were thrilled to make the 3 hour drive, aches and all.
Thank you for sharing your story and your progress. Praying you both feel much better quickly!
Prayers to her and her family.
I will pray for you both. Were you both vaccinated? Nothing political. Just wanting to know if it helps when you get Covid is all.
My wife and I got the monoclonal therapy back in Feb. when we contracted COVID. Our kids seemed to be just fine but it definitely knocked us for a loop. We were able to get the monoclonal infusion within a few hours of being diagnosed and I really think it helped.
That’s great news.
Sounds like it knock y’all around a bit but you and your wife are beating it.
I pray everyday you recover quickly and fully.
So sad to hear this. RIP.
Geeze that’s terrible. She was trying to get help and she was fighting so hard. Pure heartache that she’s died anyway.
I pray God bless her family with grace and healing.
Appreciate the search link. Definitely an outpouring of guidance, concern, and prayers.
The last detail I noticed was the hospital’s refusal to administer the therapeutics she asked for despite given earlier approval. Something about FDA guidelines and the stage of infection.
The strange part of the story: We had our four kids up for our summer get together. All of them were vaxxed. Two of the boys had cold symptoms, which didn't raise an alarm to me, because of their vaccination. We probably got it from one of them.
Along with our daughter, two sons have now tested positive since we did. Only one of the four came back with a negative test, the only one who did not get any symptoms.
Our doctor daughter, and respiratory therapist son stood by the proclamation that I was more at risk for a bad case than my wife, because I wasn't vaxxed. I am convinced my strong immune system is why I have turned the corner quicker than my wife.
I am thankful to be where we are, knowing how bad this can get, thankful it has been mild, and hopeful it will be gone soon.
I noticed that. That pissed me off.
I barely qualified for Monoclonal Antibodies as my ox rate was between 90 and 95. And I had to fudge my blood pressure rates also to get infused.
But I got the antibodies. And they worked immediately! My pain level went from a 7 to a 3 in a matter of hours.
But as I understand things - poor Terart was DENIED the antibodies based on her pulse ox.
I’ll stop my remarks right here because I’ve been asked not to make this thread political. But needless to say, I am deeply and sincerely sorry for the loss here.
Thank you, you too!
Hospital prolly following the same protocols from over a year ago.
Noticed the post the triggered the complaint. Sensitivities are understandably high.
