We’ve all heard of or know someone who’s said that cancer–or some other traumatic ailment–is the best thing that ever happened to them.

Meaning… it woke them up.

Likewise, Joe Biden and his handlers may be the best thing that’s ever happened to the United States–assuming they don’t get us all killed!

The Swamp–be it political or cultural–has festered for decades, the deep stench of corruption choking off our national vitality.

Meanwhile, Americans have by and large punted away our responsibilities, thinking we could just “elect the right person” and let them fix it.

Well, in my opinion, we DID elect the right person–Donald Trump–twice, but hopefully we can all see the folly of letting the “champion” do all the heavy lifting.

What did we think would happen to us when we let over 63 MILLION unborn children be murdered in the womb?

…when we took fathers out of the home?

…when we let perhaps TENS OF MILLIONS of illegal aliens invade our country?

…when we removed God from our schools and let in every manner of evil?

…when we stopped being involved in those schools, and in the electoral process?

You can’t ABDICATE your country and expect good results!!!

Wakeup Call Therefore a major wakeup call was in order, and boy did we get it!

Have you ever stopped to realize that God must have one heck of a sense of humor. He also makes things as plain as possible for us. He puts things right in our face!

Think about it: Is it possible to have a more ridiculous person as the figurehead leader of the greatest nation in the history of the world? With a more ridiculous Vice President? Speaker of the House? “Opposition leaders”?

God is pushing our nose in our own mess. We are not just being humbled–we are being HUMILIATED!

Humiliation is a beautiful wake up call!

If we did not fall away from God, then we would know that we are undergoing a CURSE! And that the way out is SPIRITUAL!

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV That does not mean we are supposed to just pray and sit on our butts! After all, faith without works is quite dead, right?

Stop Railing Against Evil So let’s knock off the childish railing against the obvious evil and insanity we see trying to force us to submit, and instead, fight the good fight and do GOOD!

Getting the right attitude starts with looking at OURSELVES and not the instruments of evil that God is allowing–or rather I believe USING–to do the work of waking us up!

Keep in mind, that if those in charge weren’t so ridiculous and obvious in their attack on everything that’s good about this country, then WE WOULD NOT WAKE UP! It takes a real SHOCK to awaken a slumbering People!

So if anything, let’s be THANKFUL for Joe and his handlers–they have given us a true GIFT. Now it’s up to us appreciate its value, and bring forth a much, much greater gift–our broken relationship with our Creator, and along with it that beautiful gift of FREEDOM!

Don’t kid yourself. There are plenty of people who think Biden is doing a wonderful job despite high gas prices, lumber through the roof, illegal immigration explosion, murder rate on the rise, people want to live on welfare rather than work, etc.

But the MSM will keep touting the fake COVID crisis, climate change, and critical race theory until the next election. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Oregon is in a very bad drought, a land of too much rain only a decade earlier. Right now our state is in the news due to having the biggest forest fire raging in these United States lands, 227 hundred acres.

Water is getting scarce and crime is up 800% in our biggest city, Portland, OR. Yet only one person has said to me, "it feels like Gods punishment."

Great post. Lots of wisdom in this. Parallels what Churchill once said, "Americans can always be trusted to do the right thing, once all other possibilities have been exhausted." In fact, remember 3 years ago when we lost the House and people were predicting the end of Trump's power.  Well, Trump succeeded very well in his last two years in office. I wouldn't be surprised to learn some day that Trump EXPECTED corruption to put him out of office — but he knew he could marshall our collective MAGA energy to win power back. And how about this for a silver lining: If we win back the Senate and House and Trump runs again in 2024, it will be like have a 10 year term for our President!  Not to mention a DeSantis winning in 2028. The Biden/Harass election fraud has indeed awoken the Sleeping Giant.  Hopefully it has shocked people to get involved in local politics.  You can't expect to oversee government by reading Free Republic alone because the corrupt media have a lot more eyeballs.  Additional ACTION, ACTION, and ACTION is required. Trump and Peter Schweizer awakened us to the Permanent State and broad cross-party corruption that exists in Washington.  This is what Rooney is talking about in his post -- and corruption only deepens when the people are not properly overseeing their leaders. Hear the words of John Adams of Braintree, our 2nd President and the author of the Massachusetts Constitution which became the model for the U.S. Constitution: “ Let us dare to read, think, speak and write.  To preserve Liberty, the People must know the conduct and character of their rulers.  Let us rouse the People's attention and animate their resolution. ” Biden/Harass will surely lead to the resurgence of Trump and MAGA... so long as we truly wake up and turn our wrath into ACTION!
