Republicans should file an amendment to the bill requiring anyone who wishes to voice or write an opinion to register with the Ministry of Truth, and to complete a mandatory course in correct thinking.

Joycelyn Elders still hasn’t figured out how to make safer guns and safer bullets.

No, they aren’t.
Both are guns. Revolvers and pistols are different. It’s how to differentiate between my .22 magnum revolver and my .40 Springfield XD pistol.
That said, they can double pound sand.

When revolvers were first invented, they were sometimes referred to as “revolving pistols”.

A group of Democrats in Congress this month have filed legislation that seeks to set new, much more restrictive standards for even the most basic handgun ownership There's always a group of Dems willing to throw down un-Constitutional legislation...it's a trial balloon. If it lands with a thud, Dem leadership can walk away from it. If it has any sort of traction, it could become law (albeit one that would be challenged) overnight.

Not on federal firearms paperwork.
Revolvers and pistols are listed differently.

Politicans try and take away your guns because they intend to do something you’d want to shoot them for.

They don’t have a clue about how long this would take or maybe they do. You just know they are talking about a $200 tax stamp and a form 4 application. It takes them months just to approve one. Can you imagine how long this would take? Which of course is the whole point.

After all, if a license holder demonstrates firearm proficiency, passes a background check every five years and the government approves the license, they should be considered ‘safe’, right? What part of "shall not infringe" does the above comply with?
