One thing I’ve learned since opening my eyes to the topic of politics is how the source of all manner of issues is never actually dealt with in ways that should be normal, but rather, actions are merely aimed at the symptom. Name the government programs created to cure a problem. They never solve the problem, sometimes make it worse, and forever exist because the symptom never really goes away.
Always p***** me that Fauci was all about vaccines and the masks and shut downs...instead of therapeutics...which should have been first on the agenda. He ignored everyone on the matter.
I think many lives were lost due to this criminal(in my mind) neglect of duty. That one email, had a colleague of his telling him very early on that HCL worked. This is the email that Fauci claimed was too long to read. He and the people behind him wanted $$ from the vaccine and wanted Trump out and that is what they got at the cost of thousands of lives.
And I still believe that Fauci told him how to rig the home numbers....just put them in column B when they actually belong in Column A.

Am I the only one who thinks that if Covid 19 is supposed to be a bioweapon, it is not very effective? Who should a bioweapon target? Wouldn’t that be the defenders of our country — the military? But people of military age (17 to 45} aren’t particularly susceptible.
The overwhelming number of deaths in the USA are people over 50. Presumably, that is the way it is in other countries, as well.
Unless the virus is just step one to the real weapon — the vaccine. It hasn’t been available and deployed long enough for us to see the longterm effects.
The other weapon — very potent weapon — was fear. [I wasn’t afraid of the virus, ever. I didn’t wash my hands any more than usual, I didn’t believe I could get it off gas pump handles and doorknobs, I didn’t wear a mask except when made to (appointments in medical facilities). I never lost faith in my immune system. I have never had a flu shot or any vaccine in my adult life except two tetanus boosters.]
I wonder if Americans will learn anything from this? Unlikely, unless it gets talked about a whole lot more.
I gave ol' Sean Anthony a hard time for a while, a couple years ago, to no avail, before realizing it is just a spambot with its ears missing.
What cracks me up are the people who attempt to converse with the bot (you excepted, I know you know better).

Indeed. The “understanding” was that the blog could continue to spam (my word) FR with clickbait (again, my word) so long as the threads get posted under Bloggers instead of News. This was after the blog demanded that it be excerpt-only and then hid behind its excerpt-only demand as a fig leaf for spammer Sean Anthony to post clickbait experts. The deal was that their spam/clickbait would be tolerated so long as it ended up under Bloggers. Also, Sean should act at least somewhat human, which he started to do to some extent, with very brief comments under comment #1 for each post and a very occasional follow-up reply. Now he doesn’t even do that.
Oh, and an occasional donation to support FR? Perish the thought!

There was more to the "understanding" than just that. JimRob included a few more conditions: No excerpting -- post the full article. And interact -- take comments and reply to them.
That's not asking much. Even a programmed bot can do that.

Too much work. Bloggers are fundamentally lazy. I've thought about doing a blog, in fact, it would beat working for a living. But then I'd be tempted to take advantage of forums the way the bloggers do, and I'd be ashamed and have to go off myself. So I thought better of it and continue to work for a living.

Exactly. This is JimRob's living room, and he decides what goes and what stays. I'm happy to be allowed to play here, and I've been a monthly donor for quite a few years now. Personally I'd like to see all recurring bloggers have to donate a little, say $5/month, or their blog posts get pulled summarily. But it ain't my living room.
