Why did the first judge recuse himself/herself?
Read post 5 and you’ll have your answer — dems hired a lawer who clerked(?) for the judge on the case thus recusing himself from the case due to possible conflict of interest/ethical concerns.
Because one legal team searched out and added a former law clerk of the Judge to their team.
