The Matt Gaetz Leak Makes the FBI Look Really Stupid and Corrupt

(EDITOR’S NOTE: At this time there is no confirmation about where the “three people briefed on the matter” who spoke to the New York Times are employed – whether by the FBI, the US Attorney’s office in Florida, the USDOJ in Washington DC, on Capitol Hill, or whether they’re three individuals to whom the information was leaked. We have major concerns about supposedly serious newsrooms reporting about ongoing criminal probes in which no charges have been filed basing their story entirely upon information from anonymous sources whose connection to the investigation isn’t even revealed, and whether or not those anonymous sources were with the FBI the fact remains that someone involved in the probe – someone involved with the US government in some manner – purposely leaked this information for political gain. If we are ever to have confidence in the integrity of USDOJ and FBI investigations, these leaks need to be investigated and prosecuted.)

[cut]

Really, it should bother everyone, no matter their feelings on Gaetz, that the FBI can just leak something like this, to attack someone in such a blatantly political way. When you are facing an anonymous allegation, you can’t respond to it in any effective manner. Just last night, the reporter behind the Times story appeared on Rachel Maddow’s show and countered Gaetz’s claim about the man he named, yet she did so offering no proof whatsoever. These games are rigged, and you aren’t supposed to be able to defend yourself.

Notice how tightly sewn up the FBI has been about the current Hunter Biden investigation and the myriad of other past transgressions by the president’s son. Their lips only seem to get loose when a Republican is in the cross-hairs, and that should bother everyone. It’s corruption, and it deserves the scorn it receives.

Further, this makes the FBI look really stupid. You’re telling me that the FBI needs a multi-year investigation to prove whether Gaetz traveled with a 17-year-old? Shouldn’t that be readily apparent or quickly disproven given the simplicity of the evidence involved?

If the FBI is not going to charge Gaetz for anything, and they should know by now whether he did anything wrong, then they should come out publicly and slap this report down. By letting it hang in the air, it makes them look like they are part of the political play here, and perhaps they are. It also makes them look incompetent, and again, perhaps they are.

There need to be major reforms within the FBI and DOJ in regards to securing information about investigations. This constant stream of anti-Republican leaking to outlets like the Times and The Washington Post is gross and wrong. But you aren’t going to get those reforms with the current leadership so expect this kind of thing to continue and for it to always go in one direction.

Wray is wearing a purple tie (resistance).
Why was Trump such a gullible fool?
Can you name a single major appointment that was neither neutralized nor turned on him?

You spelled EVIL wrong. Remember the kids burned alive/shot at Waco ("It's showtime!") or Randy Weaver (oh, I'm sorry; White Separatist™ Randy Weaver)'s wife getting her head blown off from 1/2 mile away by an FBI sharpshooter while holding her baby in her arms?

And the sharpshooter got promoted.

And the guy who argued in court to defend the sharpshooter was lardass bagpipe traitor, Bill Barr. *he swallows*.

Wray: Look here - I am a man!

Rosenstein: Wanna play “whack-a-mole”?

There aren’t enough ways to say “INCOMPETENT” to describe both Wray and Rosenstein, with AG Garland coming in a close second.

Why was Trump such a gullible fool?

I think that assessment might be a little harsh, but glad to see you're starting to realize "the plan" wasn't so great, if there ever was such a thing (doubtful). Hopefully everyone is starting to realize that OUR actions are the key, not blind faith in these politicians no matter their name.

FRegards...

Strange that Hunter Biden’s text about his relationship with his deceased brothers wife accusing him of inappropriate sexual contact with Haley, his 14yo niece were released and the release of the Geatz investigation happened at the same time. Or is it SOP?

Sod off, Swampy.

I still trust the plan: “Nothing can stop what is coming” did not mean “Trump will win re-election”.

This is not “Monday Morning Quarterbacking” because Trump himself Tweeted in June of 2020 that corrupt states would share the specs for printing blank ballots (with paper, watermarks, etc.) with foreign countries.

Secondly — does Pelosi look smug, or drunk-out-of-her-skull-and-panicked? Is Chuck Schemer gloating?

Does President Trump look calm, happy, confident, and relaxed?

It doesn’t bother the GOP. Why should it bother anybody else?
